I was not very happy with this place!! We were traveling and needed some good food so we stopped, boy was that a mistake. Our server was not attentive to our needs at all. After we placed our order the wait for her to come back to refill our cups was forever. Then after almost an hour she brings food to the table, only there are 3 of us and only 2 plates. My husband had ordered to campfire chicken and they were out of it. I was furious!!! Why would you wait that long to inform a guest that what you ordered was not available. 45 minutes is more than enough time to go back to the table (with a menu) to make the changes for order. It was a terrible experience. I was extremely disappointed with the table service and the manager was not much better.
I am happy to say my meatloaf was pretty darn tasty even if my green beans and mashed taters were on the cold side.

Unfortunately, the Cracker Barrel location on Kentucky Mills in Louisville, Ky. has progressively gotten worse. While there was no one ahead of us, we had to wait because there was no hostess. The server that finally came up to seat us was not pleasant or welcoming at all. Once seated, we had to wait a long time before anyone came to the table. We ordered everything at once in fear of another long wait between the drink & meal order. When we finally received our meals some items were missing. I had almost finished my dinner by the time one dish was brought to the table. The food was okay, but not the taste or quality I have received at other locations. If you want biscuits or corn muffins at this location, you have to ask. The servers will not offer them to you. In the future, I will go to a different location.

Had breakfast here this morning. The grits that I got were not prepared properly, and were dry and had large lumps in them. Either this was because of pure laziness (not prepared properly), or they were leftover from the day before. I expect properly prepared food for my hard earned money. I sent them back and told my server to just bring me the hash brown casserole. I really don’t care for the hash brown casserole, but I’d rather eat that than the dry, lumpy grits. I eat out to enjoy my food, not settle for something different than what I wanted because someone didn’t want to take the time to prepare the food correctly. The country ham was dry and overcooked also. Do better or I’m going to stop eating here.
we were a party of 13 on a Saturday night. only 20 minute wait for the table and wonderful service. all of the food was as ordered.

Haven't ate at a CB in a few years. Recently had a Medical Procedure & was craving comfort food. I ordered their Broccoli Chicken lunch Special with MPs & Dumplings. My Husband ordered Breakfast. Best meal we've had at any Cracker Barrel in a very long time. The Dumplings were the Best I've ever eaten at any of theirlocations. Everything else was really Good, too!! Kudos to the Cooks & Managers @ this location.
I’ve been coming to this location for over 20 years and each time the service is amazing, food is excellent, and even when I visit during holidays when they are extremely busy, I still have a great experience. I cannot speak for other locations but this location is awesome.

We had a decent experience at Cracker Barrel. The service was great, our waitress was very kind and attentive throughout our visit. There were a few mix-ups with the order that seemed to come from the manager pushing things out too quickly, but to her credit, she fixed everything right away, which we really appreciated.
As for the atmosphere, it’s the classic Cracker Barrel vibe (rustic and homey) which isn’t really my personal style, but it’s consistent with their brand. We mainly came for the crispy pancakes, which unfortunately didn’t deliver. They were soft and a bit underwhelming, so overall the breakfast was just okay. Not a bad visit, but nothing memorable either.

Almost everything was good except when I went to pay for the food at the cash register, the black guy named JoJo on the front of the apron was so rude never said thank you very very arrogant, not polite. The waitress was awesome very respectful and the food was good.

Order the campfire meal. Was not impressed it was like having soup in aluminum foil and not a 🥣 bowl.
