We ordered chicken and dumplings with biscuits. We usually love a Cracker Barrel visit but this time the food was less than desirable. I had corn and broccoli with my order. Corn had been reheated and dried up like raisins. Biscuits were very hard. I asked if it would be possible to get fresh biscuits and waitress said at this time of evening (about 7:30pm) not very likely and walked away. Both order of dumplings were re-heated but cool ( not hot). Don't want to blame...

The chicken fingers and hash brown casserole was delicious. I would given a five star rating on the food except for the beignets which was ok nothing special. Service was great this time.

My favorite chicken and dumplings was very disappointing! Someone changed the review or something! Usually you get large or medium pieces of chicken... just had very small pieces and not many! And dumplings were thick and didn't taste as good. Maybe they have a new chef... but bring the old dumplings back.
