The food here was expensive so we decided to order a bacon, egg, biscuit and a chicken-n-biscuit. The biscuits were good. However, everything else was terrible. The coffee tasted soapy. We got a cup of gumbo and it was awful. It was cold, had way too much black pepper, and despite having many ingredients, somehow tasted bland. I have never had bland gumbo before but this place pulled it off. My partner got a side of hash browns with peppers and onions. It was soggy and the ingredients did not go well together at all. We hate wasting food and always try to eat what we order even if we don’t like it, but neither of us could finish the gumbo or the hash browns. We will not be back here. I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews. I’m just grateful I didn’t order one of the more expensive dishes. Waste of money.

I pleasant surprise near our hotel. Excellent whiskey options...my Roman's Creek was a new one for me...Excellent! Food was good...I had the short rib.

We stopped by there rather late for dinner after a 9 hr. Drive from MD. Cask was a great find and one we would highly recommend to anyone!
Love the fact it is woman owned! Sat at the bar and was so impressed with everything. Great meal, cocktails and warm, gracious service!
Would definitely be a regular, go to spot if we lived in Louisville.

Went here for my 30th birthday absolute best restaurant and atmosphere I’ve ever experienced! JENNIFER was such an amazing server everything was hot fresh and delicious! Service was super quick and the hospitality is top tier!!!! I will definitely be returning in the future highly recommending this restaurant is an understatement!!! Fried pickles, fried green tomatoes, short rib, ribeye, chicken and waffles, grits, Mac and cheese, and green beans are all so delicious!!! 😋

Amazing food, cocktails, and service! Our running team of 12, from Wisconsin, walked in, sat at the bar, and created chaos immediately. In a good way, we hope! Jennifer was our bar goddess and herded these kittens like it was her mission in life. Our cocktails were crafted with care, our water glasses kept full, and food was delectable. We had a great time as well. 10 stars out of 5!

Small open concept diner, The drinks were lovely and the appetizers were well made, the entrees were delicious and the desserts were just outstanding and the staff were very attentive.

Last time we went the food was pretty good, but this time not so much. The deviled eggs were completely devoid of flavor, the baked potato was so dried out even the flavorless tomato butter didn't help. Chicken sandwich was ok, BLT ok. Sadly we probably won't go back. Too bad because we thought it was pretty good last time. Maybe it was just a bad day, hope that's the case.
