I eat here at least weekly on second shift . Don cooks THE BEST breakfast of anyone! Simon is my server. And he’s very polite and efficient. I love coming here because of the service and how clean it always is. I think they should get a raise because of the consistent GOOD service! Hope they never leave! You really need to appreciate how well they do their jobs! 🥰🥰

Annoyed. I try and go to spinellis and their closed at 2:30 on a saturday for some reason. Whatever okay. So then I see burger girl is 1 mile down the road so I go there and they literally lock the door as I'm walking up. So I was like okay whatever again I'll just go home and door dash. And then on the way home I remember "reliable waffle House is right near me. Been there half a dozen times in the middle of the night no way they are closed". I walk in and the lady says "we are only doing Togo orders" and at this point I'm already annoyed from the last 2 places so I just left. But like WHAT! You get one customer an hour if THAT! you can't just give me a drink, do a 180 and set the food down. Last time I was there I tipped the lady $50! And it was around the same time on a random Tuesday! You literally just turned away $50 because you didn't wanna do like 3 tasks. There's no way. I work in restaurants and I NEVER complain I swear but like there's no way waffle House only does takeout when you barely get a single customer all night. Like why? The cook does all the work all you gotta do is fill a water and set the food down!

It was a heavy snow day and apparently they couldn't get deliveries because it was an extremely limited menu. They did their best though and we're very friendly.

Racist atmosphere. Came in, sat down and never got served. 10 minutes later white male walks in gets seated and order taken right away. We were the only brown skinned guys in there. They all noticed us that was for sure. We got up and left. Not one said a word or anything. Definitely not recommended.
Stopped in for dinner after 9. I knew it was gonna be good, but I didn't know that I would love the WH chili so much! It's really very good! I had a grilled cheese with bacon sandwich & a bowl of chili, & sweet tea. Our waitress was awesome, the service was great, the meal was so tasty! It definitely hit the spot! They're all decorated for Halloween, which I loved because we were in Louisville for the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular! I now have a new favorite meal!! Sorry my food is already eaten on, but I was hungry & forgot to take a picture at first! LOL

What more could one ask for before a day on the Kentucky Bourbon trail.
