Ok so it was me and 3 other guys from work, we're from Ohio been working around the pudacuh area for almost a week and 2 of our contacts at the DoE recommended The farm. Well the farm was closed and had a lame food truck not what we wanted. So I suggested this place since we drove right pass it.
I'm glad I did. First off the people working and eating here are extremely friendly and welcome you like good neighbors. Made me happy to be greeted with smiles and hellos.
Place has that ol dinner feel, plenty of room for people and groups. Booths were comfy place was clean.
Waitress was extremely nice, and made sure we had what we wanted and if anything was wrong or we were missing something she take care of it.
Now I ordered the 6pc catfish so did another co-worker and it was fantastic, they weren't burnt, they werent over breaded, and every bite was delicious. The slaw was amazing too. Other coworkers said both their chicken and steak meals were great as well.
Highly recommend anyone passing thru to stop here. You'll have a delicious meal and be surrounded by some good people.

Living in the area back in the 90s, this was a great place with good food and a buffet that was home cooking and delicious. 2014, it was still that way. After 2024, we went out of our way to go eat here. It had been over 30 years for my parents. The catfish was good, but the hamburger was overcooked, the shrimp was overcooked and dry, and no sauce was brought out for the shrimp or fish unless you asked for it. The service was awesome! We had two servers, and the one disappeared. Maybe she had a break, but the lady that took over was spot on, and she was taking care of a lot of people. I used to talk this place up to everyone where I live now and tell them to make the 8 hour trip. I will not be back.
