LJS left my city in Florida over 20 years ago. Even when I travel to Kentucky to see relatives I rarely have the time to get there. This trip I made it a point so my brother and I had a weekday lunch. That old familiar smell enveloped me as I walked in from the tiny crowded parking lot. Once in the heat from no air conditioning almost drove me away. However we ordered. I imagine the heat was wearing on the staff because they were low effort. I went to wash up and the mens room was disgraceful. Reminded me of one you’d see in 1930 at a rural fillin’ station. I decided my hands would be less clean had I went in further than the one step before I turned around. The drink station needed attention. I was satisfied with my lunch but the hot dining room really took away from my enjoyment. I wanted to give LJS a great review but this location on the day I visited was quite dismal and made me sad that after driving over a thousand miles to KY and going out of my way to LaGrange that THIS was my experience.
Great staff, clean and friendly, but the service was very slow. I was in the Drive-Thru for about 15 minutes and it didn't move so I parked & went in. It was about 15 minutes from getting in line inside behind one person until I was able to leave with food. Fortunately, what I got was fresh, tasty, and a good value.

We order two two piece fish dinners no tartar sauce no ketchup no nakins no forks very unpleasant dinners a waste of money and time will not be back

The food was terrible and overcooked and hard. Too Greasy. didn't get any sauces. also no Coleslaw that was paid for. DEFINTELY was NOT Worth the 80$ that was spent. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! This was the Lagrange.Ky store

To be completely honest, I don't eat seafood but the chicken, oh my God the chicken. Some locations you're rolling the dice with chicken but it's always on point here. Not a big fan of the new waffle fries but that's on corporate. And don't forget the hushpuppies. Best hushpuppies ever (I'll fight you on this)! Great staff, good location and always clean.

While we were there today at 4;00 p.m. a kid came in riding a bicycle through the store. Went to drink machine and got a drink. Talking loudly to himself and rode back out. The fish we ordered (all 3 of us) was very mushy. This will be our last trip to this location.
