The food was good, and the service was good. The floors weren't crazy clean, and the bathroom didn't have any soap in it when we were there. And kinda disappointed about the change to waffle fries from the originals
Long John Silver's is a food item that when one craves it there's no option but Long John Silver's. I enjoy the taste occasionally with their sides of green beans and coleslaw. Louisville has fewer locations now since Long John Silver's has changed owners over the last decade and no longer a Yum! Brands business. There is no Long John Silver's near where I live, so I drove 20 mi to LaGrange, KY one night when I was craving the product. The staff there...

First time I have seen a bit of fish in batter in a perfectly uniform diamond shape, so it was obvious mass produced cheap fish and tasted accordingly.
Can't fault the staff in the place though and there were very pleasant and friendly
