Let me tell you!!! Being a FloridaBoy coming to Kentucky and found 119 west main restaurant was GEM!!! Started with fried sauerkraut balls that had bacon, sausage, saurkraut and cheese was delicious!!! The dipping sauce with was very good (sorry no pic or video of them they were that good)
Ended up getting the PARTY DOWN SOUTH which is Shredded buffalo chicken homemade pimento cheese, blue cheese crumbles, cheddar jack cheese with a Lil spicy kick, wrapped in 2 flower tortilla that's deep fried!!!! Sooo GOOD!!!
Then the KENTUCKY HAUTE BROWN!!!!!
Now this dish was put together very well(great creation)
Tender oven roasted turkey,COUNTRY ham, maple baccon, fried green tomato, cheesy Mornay sauce and melted cheddar over a thick slice of Texas Toast!!!!
I told the sever after I eat this i need a blanket and a pillow lol Comfort food (coma food)

And the Kentucky Bacon pie was very delicious I got it to go but it never made it to the šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I highly recommend the haute brown
I can't wait to try something new next time, also the service was great and it located in historic downtown in La Grange

The food is usually amazing but most recently I had a burger with enough thousand island to drown a possum. I swear that plate could of lubricated thirteen rusty doors and a half a tractor.

Our server was polite and new or training someone.

Try the Gouda Mac and cheese.

Understaffed terribly today. Our food order finally arrived after waiting an hour and it wasn’t our order!! When we did receive our lunch the food was cold. The waitress was kind and apologized numerous times for problems …. Our appetizer was cold as well. The sweet tea was full of flavor.

Ate there on suggestion from hotel staff. Later found out they were featured on food network. Gigantic menu and all the different things or family tried were excellent. If your in La grange,KY give it a try.

Waitress didn’t bother to write my order down. Came back asked me what I ordered and brought out my stuff with half of it missing. Not sure why they didn’t just write my order down? Chicken was dry. Not coming back again.

My husband and I enjoyed eating here before the ghost walk in LaGrange. He got a steak, which he said was good. I got a quesadilla with pimento cheese and ham, which was unique and not bad! Staff were super friendly.

We tried this restaurant a few years back and it was absolutely disgusting. We decided to give it another try in hopes that the first experience was just an off night. Sadly it’s just as terrible now as it was then. I’m honestly surprised by the good reviews.

First off, it took way too long to get our meals. The food tastes like it’s a week old. The burgers are as salty as the Atlantic. I think you could get a better meal at a hospital. Secondly the service was not friendly nor attentive.

In conclusion, we left disappointed, disgusted, and still hungry.

Not good!
We came here from out of town to enjoy the afternoon. I found this place on Google and it had good reviews. We sat at our table for 40 minutes after ordering. We all ordered burgers and were assured they would be pink inside. They all came back Well done… The word ā€œhockey puckā€ comes to mind. The lettuce was old and wilted, and the tomatoes were very unappealing as well. The fries were even rubbery, an experience I’ve not had before.
The staff was very flustered when we complained. They did finally take off one of the burgers from our bill after a discussion with all of the workers. It seemed to be a decision by committee on how we were to be treated.
I don’t recommend this place and I would not return.

Little, quaint place to eat in La Grange. I have driven through this town at least a hundred times and never knew this place existed. I would suggest rolling in when passing by La Grange for a bite to eat. Pretty cool little spot. Will was my server and he was spot on

The absolute worst food I've ever had. A poor cross between that frozen meal that sat in the freezer too long, and the hospital food you only eat because you're stuck in the hospital.

We (4) all ordered different menu items and not a single dish was good. The fish tacos is literally a piece of fish slapped on top of ice burg lettuce with some shredded Mexican cheese. The coleslaw was literally spoiled. Burger was dry. The braised beef tasted like an oversalted frozen meal that someone put into the microwave for 5 minutes too long.

The wait staff was nice but we will not be going back. Very disappointed, I don't cook and would've done a better job. This restaurant needs to be on that Gordon Ramsey show, hells kitchen, or whatever it's called.
