A great addition to the community! I tried the stuffed French toast and a berry bowl - both of which were delicious. My server was knowledgeable, kind, and seemed happy to be at work. The restaurant was very tidy and inviting, offering a fun yet down-home energy that I enjoyed. I will be back soon!

We went to a new restaurant here in La Grange called Wally’s. They specialize in chicken and egg dishes with some unique flavors and flare like chorizo gravy, avocado toast and sweet plantains with your pancakes.I had the Chicken & Waffles. $14. It comes with 3 mini Belgium fluffy waffles topped with a chicken strip on each and a drizzle of syrup and a berry compote. They added a thin sliced fried jalapeño on two, but I didn’t eat them. I was very happy with my meal to say the least!Dennis, on the other hand, did not have a great experience. Not even a good one. He ordered the most simplest meal called Wally’s Favorite, $13 (or $14), consisting of two eggs, crispy potatoes, bacon and country bread. (Contrary to the menu posted online). He specified eggs “over medium”, describing “runny yolk white done”, extra crispy on the potatoes and bacon. …. Vs. what he got: extremely salty and soft diced potatoes (couldn’t eat them), limp bacon, (couldn’t eat it), eggs so well-done that they were crispy and a piece of toast with such burn marks that he was still tasting it later. Now, while his meal came out completely wrong, our server never once got a manager, probably never told the chef anything, nor asked to make it right. When we left we did happen to run into the manager and she was very kind and apologetic but had she known there was a problem a long time ago, she would have corrected it.We may give them another try, because the chicken was delicious.Vegetarian options: They have vegan optionsKid-friendliness: They have a kids menuParking: In a large shopping centerDietary restrictions: They have gluten free options

Wally’s was a great place to bring family and friends. The service was polite and helpful on menu choices, the atmosphere was relaxed and fun. But the best part was the food, everyone at our table loved their meal. We took chances on some classic items but found out the combinations were carefully planned. The adult drinks were the best at breakfast. Thanks Wally’s, we’ll be back and telling friends.???

I am a fan. Love having a place like this in our neighborhood. The food was excellent. The owner came out and introduced himself and that is always a good thing. We will be back.

Our first time here, the food was fantastic. Had a great Bloody Mary with a large skewer of toppings, my favorite was the homemade pickle. The service was great, the waitress and the owners are very attuned to needs. We will return.

Will not go back. Got there at 1:28pm was told about a 10 minute wait. 3-4 minutes later we were informed they do not seat people after 1:30pm even though they are open until 2:30pm. Not the lady at the door’s fault someone else told her. Not sure where that person learned proper business etiquette but, once accepted, they should seat you and then tell others that arrive they cannot be seated. Not ask people already asked to wait, to leave!

A bright and clean environment with so many yummy options for breakfast or lunch. I had the Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict. My hubby had Chirzo biscuits & gravy. Bloody Mary was also a treat!Be patient as it just opened and there’s lots wanting to dine and they are working hard to iron things out! Grateful for the owners opening a new place in our town.

Wally’s just opened in La Grange on Feb. 15, 2023, and it’s an amazing place to eat! I am one of the lucky people who got in first and here is my review. The atmosphere at Wally’s is bright and welcoming like walking into your best friend’s home for breakfast! Since Wally’s is the shining new restaurant in town, the wait is extra long right now because everyone wants to try Wally’s out. If you have the patience, the wait is absolutely worth it!! And once the “newest” factor wears off and Wally’s can operate at a normal pace, the long wait will be gone and the 5-star restaurant level will be shining new factor to focus on. The food is AMAZING and it’s not a rush in, hurry up and eat and rush out place. Come in, sit down, breathe, talk, relax, enjoy … savor your food with your eyes because it comes out beautifully and artfully plated. Then savor your food with every taste bud in your mouth, and you’ll have an amazing start to your day!If you are coming in for lunch, you are still in for a treat! Again, please be patient right now because the wait is long since Wally’s is the new place in town, but lunch is just as amazing as breakfast! What a wonderful place to go for a great “pick-me-up” during the day. This new restaurant’s opening week and weekend has been a huge hit and bombarded with customers, and I believe that when Wally’s hits its groove, it will be a fixture among #1 must eat at La Grange restaurants. I also believe it will be a fixture among top restaurants to eat at around Louisville!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options and the tofu casserole is awesome!Kid-friendliness: There are kid-friendly menu options.

Absolutely delicious. We had a wonderful experience at Wally’s on opening day today. Everyone should try it. Great service and wonderful food.

Do not recommend. The biscuits and gravy were a giant disappointment: dry and lacking flavor. Smashed potatoes were char-crusted and lacked any seasoning. Steak and egg casserole was overcooked and chewy. Pancakes were coated in a rancid berry sauce. But the bacon is very good. $56 for 2 people; their policy is to charge for food even if it's poorly prepared and not eaten. Service was adequate; no refilled drinks.

We were excited at the prospect of a new breakfast restaurant in La Grange and decided to visit 2/18/23. Yes, it was the first week of operation so we expected hick ups.Arriving at 9 am we had a 10 minute wait. Not bad, we expected worse and people behind us experienced longer waits. When we were seated we drew the short straw and got the table in front of the door. Every time it opened we were met with a rush of cold air. I am always cold and this was not pleasant. The decor is a cute county-ish theme. Everything was clean, bright and comfortable. The rest rooms were well appointed. The menu is varied and I had a hard time making a selection, finally deciding on the eggs Benedict and my husband got chicken and waffles. There was a moderate wait for food but not awful. It was delivered on a cute wheeled cart by a worker that was not our waitress. No one checked on us to see if we needed anything else or if our orders were correct. The amount of food was adequate but not bountiful. The quality was good but my eggs were VERY overcooked and did not yield the runny yolk that MAKES a Benedict, in my opinion. Since no one checked on our meals I was forced to eat my meal as was, no chance to send back to the kitchen although I may not have do to the time to get a new meal.My husband enjoyed his chicken and waffles stating he liked the presentation (small waffles with tenders). The whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I am not too sure that I would return. My husband would give them another chance.

Have to wait in your car for a table. System was down and it took 25 minutes to be seated with plenty of open tables. No changing table, so I had to change my baby on the floor. No to go boxes or orders. Pricy and food was not bad but a lot to work on to make it a better experience.

My wife and I came this morning for breakfast. Food tasted great, hot and fresh, and staff was friendly. Will defintely be back again to try some other things off the menu. My wife did want to add she wished y'all had either grits or oatmeal as a side. .Parking: Open parking lot with lots of spaces

My Host And Server were great! The coffee was amazing and the food was perfect, the wait time was around 30 minutes. Both vegan and nonvegan parfaits were amazing. The chicken and waffles were tasty! Smash potatoes and churros were great as well! I highly recommend Wally's!!
