Casual dining in a friendly atmosphere. Family owned and operated. They're only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for specific hours but we've never gotten anything that wasn't absolutely delicious. Service can be slow if they are busy but in my opinion is worth the wait. I'm told they will do special events on the days that the regular restaurant is not open. I haven't tried this but if the occasion arises I wouldn't hesitate to check them out....
Today a friend and I drove from Nashville to The Brick Oven. My friend had seen it on “Tennessee Crossroads” so we decided to visit. Great atmosphere..good food..friendly servers. Anyone who visits MUST save room for a fried pie. The pies aren’t made until ordered so they come to the table HOT. Our visit was definitely worth the drive.
This place is a great little hidden gem! I am surprised more people don’t know about it! But glad they don’t because it was so nice to not be in an overcrowded chain restaurant like usual! I’m from a small town in Southern Illinois and this place took me back to that feeling of being home! Definitely recommend and well worth the drive !
