not a tenth of what it used to be. "pulled pork BBQ" was on par with elementary school cafeteria food

Marksbury Farm is proof that you don't need white tablecloths to create burger magic. The burgers here are so good, they should come with a warning label: "May cause intense burger joy." It's not fancy, but who needs frills when you've got the best burger in town? Five stars for turning simplicity into a culinary masterpiece. Marks-bury me in these burgers; that's how good they are!

I never take the time out of my day to leave a review but I had to after my experience. I'm from Morehead KY and I bought a paid of sweet Italian sausage from Kroger made by Marksbury Farm. It is the best pork sausage I have ever had! Absolutely delicious, the quality of the meat is outstanding! I will keep supporting this company!

I come to a restaurant to have a meal served to me. I'd not had occasion to go to this restaurant in awhile, so the changes were a bit of shock to me, and not in a good way. Before you had people wait on you, and there were plenty of food options. I loved the fresh friend potato chips, and the burgers were pretty good. Good atmosphere. Today, I was not happy.I was given a luke-warm hamburger patty on a bun, sitting in the middle of a paper plate. Nothing else. No mayo, no lettuce, no tomato. When I asked about it, I was told I had to dress my burger myself. They have a place that is pretty unsanitary to do that.My wife got the mac and cheese with sausage. It was cold. It was also not good. She commented that it wasn't even as good as the hamburger mush I make when we get home late and don't have time to cook real food.To add insult to the already insulting visit, they no longer have people manning the register, you're expected to pick what you want from a computer screen and hit the button yourself. There were, I think, six options. After ordering I realized there were no drink machines anymore. Just a water jug, primo, I think. No more fresh fried chips, but they do have the little 50c bags of chips. For 10.00, I would have spent a couple more dollars and gone to Wings and Rings. Honestly?I DID enjoy it, but will not go back.

I have wanted to stop here for a long time but it was always busy. We stopped by to check it out and have lunch. They have a freezer of meat, they process on the property, for sale. We got a sandwich and it was really good. Their selection is limited. There was no one there other than us. This is a local business.

So....We came from Lexington because someone recommended it from work. I like what they are trying to do, but for the public, it was a little underwhelming. Thought there would be a lot more product. What meat they did have was frozen. But again....I really like what they are trying to do. The lady we did interact with was very nice.

Brisket sandwich was one of the best I've ever had! Very friendly service. A peaceful place to enjoy your lunch.

I was shocked at the changes and not in a good way and I guess it's partly my fault if I ate there more often they wouldn't have had to do away with all the features I loved so. The menu is very limited now and the prepared food is gone along with the cases of milk and meats and the fresh ice tea and fountain drinks.

Used to be my favorite burger place to eat on Saturday. Fresh hot Burger locally grown and hot tasty fries with ranch. But sadly due to new changed and reduced menu, from 5 star it went down to 1.5 stars. I hope they go back as it used to be. Someone please tell them. I don’t go there no more for that reason. :(

It was horrible the salad was nasty tasted like it was out of the bag and expired. Never eating here again. The trash can is where the salad belonged.

So disappointed. This used to be a great place for lunch. Arrived today to find a much reduced menu which I had to order on a computer screen, ( like McDonald's.). I will miss the way it used to be.

An excellent place to get locally sourced food. The meats that are vacuum packed and frozen travel well. Enjoyed the ambience and lunch with some delicious brats.
