East LA never disappoints! The food is amazing and the service is right there with it. It's also fun to watch the process as your food is made. Best hummus and chicken kabob ever. My husband got the double burger and he was impressed. Fresh meat and seasoned perfectly.

Had a great experience here! Food quality was great, you can really tell the ingredients are fresh and care is taken in how everything is prepared. Service was fast and friendly. I live in Lexington and I will definitely return just to eat here again!

We frequent oasis restaurant in lexington at least once a month but dont always have time to make the drive after work. This place is a game changer since its only 10 mins from the house.East la salad is so good and similar to fatoush salad. The humus is served with pita and fried bread and they arent stingy with the serving.Steak kabob so tender and seasoned just right.Everything was superb and the chef actually came out to talk to us about his food. That says something about a restaurant .Who would have thought this would be in Lancaster Ky!Friendly and clean atmosphere i cant wait to go back .

Husband and I stopped in for lunch. He got the chicken shawarma plate and I got the steak kabob plate. We also got an East L.A. salad to share. Everything was delicious! The meat was excellent. I especially loved the salad and hummus. Loads of flavor! Definitely worth the drive from Danville to eat at this hidden gem. We will definitely be back very soon!

They have amazing food. With a completely open kitchen where you get to watch everything. So you know where they cook is just as nice and clean as the dinning area. The service is great. I absolutely love stopping in when I get a chance.

Amazing Mediterranean food, especially for such a small town/community. The service is also top-notch.

We eat here all of the time. Mostly to go because we lived right up the road. The food is American and Middle Eastern. The owners are from Bethlehem. My favorites are the lamb/beef gyro, the chicken shawarma sandwich (one is enogh for two), and the rack of lamb. All of the sides are fantastic, and great homemade hamburgers, etc. Friendly staff and owners. You must go! The gem of Lancaster, KY.Parking: Corner in downtown Lancaster.

Recently, my niece visited this establishment to pick up an order. The owners, out of no where, approached her and insulted her using obscene words and foul language, yelling and being extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. They even did this in front of other customers. This establishment's practices are questionable. I know people that have witness how they do not even meet the Health Department guidelines and regulations. There are foul odors and areas around food that are not clean or safe for food handling. I also know people that have been employed here that have been treated very poorly, not paid appropriately and even submitted to a hostile work environment full of yelling and sexual remarks. This business should not be operating. This is not the culture that we need in Lancaster. If you are a customer, think twice about supporting this business with your time and hard earned money. We deserve better in this community.

Stopped in because I heard the food was good, but the owner/cook was apparently overworked and so he started hollering about needing to close because he's "not a slave". He kept saying ugly things to the other employees and maybe me? ... was hard to tell who he was verbally abusing. I walked out... the food couldn't be good enough to put up with that whiny abusive crybaby.UPDATE: Owner replied that I was a bigot who judged him based on his background. You can see from my review above that I judged him solely on his hostile behavior to customers. He's correct that I didn't try the food: because I wasn't interested after listening to him whine and holler about me showing up 40 minutes before they closed. Diversity and inclusiveness are admirable goals and should not be used as a strawman to distract from poor customer service skills and abusive language by a crybaby owner. Most people are happy when they have customers. I was excited to try their food as it had been recommended to me by multiple members of the community. However, the food can't be good enough to put up with this garbage and attempt to avoid accountability for his behavior by implying that (a) it never happened and then (b) it happened but I must be a bigot. Better to just say "sorry I was having a bad day" than doubling-down with slander.
