To nobody’s fault but my own I hadn’t visited Sticky Wicket until today when I noticed they had some local fresh processed turkeys and I decided to try one. The lady I spoke with on the phone and in person today was WONDERFUL btw…While picking up my bird I got some of their cookies and they were great!! Also some cherry tomato jam that is wonderful. I can not wait to get this big ole bird on the smoker Friday. I’ll update with pics and how it turned out! Shop and support...
After hiking at the Sally Brown Nature Preserve down the road, we stopped in for lunch at the Sticky Wicket. We had delicious sandwiches and soup prepared with fresh local ingredients and enjoyed chatting with the proprietor while we ate. You should definitely stop in for a good meal and a sweet treat any time you're in the area!
My wife and I have gotten take out from here two times and each meal was fresh and very flavorful. They also have pasture raised eggs, meats, and produce to buy as well.A great spot we will be coming to a lot more!
