Fantastic experience. Great food, friendly staff and excellent prices. Brought the whole family in while visiting. The restaurant atmosphere was very welcoming, clean and plenty of space. Plenty of good food for the price, solid menu with good choices and sides. Brisket, pulled pork, steak salad, kids meal, waffle fries, homemade ranch dressing and beyond. Highly recommend adding this place as a stop if you are in central KY.

Great service, great food , and waitress was awesome.
Had a bbq pork sandwich that was nothing but a dry slab of unseasoned flavorless pork with a small smidgen of sauce poured on top. Is mixing the pork into the sauce really that hard of a concept? If you’re gonna have dry flavorless meat at least TRY to hide it. Couldn’t imagine their other food being much better if their most simple item is made like that…

1st time there. We had come in for xmas to see my family. Went their to buy all of the dinner to take home. Such a friendly greeting and everyone so nice. They let us try a sample. Will definitely go back there again. Thanks for your hospitality . Smoked cabbage us awesome!!

Fantastic BBQ!!! We travel a lot, and this place has the BEST BBQ! Plus the staff and owners are super friendly and service is amazing! Can't wait to get my bbq baked potato at the new location! Did I mention the homemade desserts...... ;-)

Server asked how the meal was and I told her it was disgusting and instead of trying to make it right or getting someone who could, she just charged me $30.96 for food that was inedible.I ordered the Big Papas Sampler Platter, Mac & Cheese, and Waffle Fries. Sharon ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich and Cole Slaw.Everything was gross except for the Waffle Fries.DO NOT GO TO BIG PAPAS SMOKEHOUSE.THE FOOD IS GROSS.We wound up going to TacoBell/KFC which was 1000 percent better.

Friday night we had dinner at Big Papa’s Smokehouse in Lebanon before Garrard faced Marion County. The food was great! I had pulled pork with mac-n-cheese and beans. I asked about the pickles everyone had and they brought me a sample (normal side size) of the cucumber salad. It was the best. Our waitress was so sweet and the atmosphere was fun! We also had the brisket grilled cheese and the meat platter. It was incredible and I’m definitely adding it to my list of great local eats!
