Usually I love this store... and I have been shopping Kroger for 30 + years. Every time I am asked if I have a Kroger card or coupons. Not today. Today, my clerk was Asia. She totaled my bill without asking for my Kroger card- if I hadn’t known to put in my alt id I would have paid full price. Then I noticed she hadn’t rung up my water or used any of the stack of coupons. She handed me the coupons and told me to go to customer service. Then she rang up the water and told me to pay the full price again- until I put in my alt Id again without any prompting again.
If I didn’t know better, I would have paid full price. So then I took my full cart my two receipts and stack of coupons to the customer service desk where I waited for 5 minutes before just leaving. The desk was unattended the entire time. This trip was frustrating and cost me a lot more than it should have since my coupons that expire tomorrow were not used.
