great place…come in once or twice a year…and every time that Derrick guy has a sorry ass attitude. He is NOT friendly! Gives off the vibe it is a pain to make me a drink. I will gladly take my $$$ to another distillery going forward. 👌🏻🥃

The distillery tour was unique. Our guide was informative and fun. We enjoyed the tasting and the experience. The outdoor patio was a comfortable area to sit and enjoy a drink.

Blake was great. Ended up with a private tasting. Could have been awkward but it was super fun! We'll definitely be back!

History. The people involved, their lives, the process then and now. It was amazing to see the process in action, to be on the actual floor, see someone filling the barrel and to touch/taste the mash. I have a better understanding of the process. Sommer was great, enthusiastic and very informative. I can’t tell you which brand was the favorite because I liked them all. Between my husband and I we bought some of everything!

A delightful experience; Stephen Fante is a national treasure

I would suggest starting your Bourbon Trail at this distillery. Very upclose look at processes and smaller tour size allow for understanding and questions that are just quickly passed over on the larger, more popular tours. Blake was great!

The tour & little cocktail bar they had were great. Thomas was very kind, knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend this tour

Toured today with Thomas. Unlike other tours it was more about their process than all the barrels they can fill. They also offer couple little sips along the way. And of course the free souvenir glass is legit, not some plastic thing.

Very nice and personal experience. Nice availability of gift shop only bottles.

Awesome visit and tasting tour. The best part is you taste all of the gift shop exclusives and then have the opportunity to buy them. That's what makes this distillery so special.

Thomas was outstanding! Being that it was a smaller distillery, I already knew that it was probably going to be the most personable tour and interactive tour. I really enjoyed getting to learn about the history of Limestone and the timeline of folks who were behind the creation of the distillery. The story behind why they have a bottle called Yellowstone was very interesting and tasty. I enjoyed looking at all the collected artifacts by one of the founders. After going to some large distilleries, it was such a change to see everything on a small scale and learn about their production of 8-9 barrels a day.

I liked how Thomas went through each of the bottles in the fermentation room - heads, tails, and I'm forgetting the last one, but he made it fun! We also got to see the gin still and all of the vats of mash cooking away and tasting it, too! The shipping container rickhouse was so cute with the barrels that came along with a taste. The beginning of the tour we had a taste, too. The magic happened in their beautiful tasting room and Thomas went through each one that we tried. He also had a sample of Minor Case and their 19 botanicals gin to sample.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The distillery has a very inviting feel, and I could see ourselves coming back to relax on their front porch area and attempting to pet their cat, Corky. He was one of the tour highlights for sure. Big ol orange kitty! I highly recommend this tour! We were in town for the Bourbon Fest and to celebrate a big birthday. We had a bottle waiting with my boyfriend's name on the bag when we got there. I prearranged with our Innkeeper/Host who has painted some of the Limestone labels to have a bottle selected for my boyfriend. It was already bagged and ready with a note of "Happy Birthday" on the bag. Just awesome service and tour. Thank you all so much!

We had an incredible experience at Limestone Branch Distillery, starting with a delicious breakfast and followed by a bourbon tasting and tour. Steve Beam shared fascinating history about the distillery and bourbon-making process, while Stephen Fante was both entertaining and incredibly knowledgeable during the tasting. The atmosphere was fantastic, and it was an all-around amazing time! Highly recommend the tour for anyone interested in bourbon and its rich history.
