Farmer's Feedmill Restaurant

Simple and southern. To me this reminds me of growing up in Southeastern Kentucky. Home cooked meals and hospitality from guests and the staff. We didn’t have anything we didn’t like and eat here twice on our trip.

Excellent place for home cooking country style food, comfort food. Friendly and reasonably priced!

Decided to stop by here for breakfast on our way to Louisville. The restaurant still has the original wood floors which look great. Good size menu with decent prices. I ordered the country ham plate. It came with 2 biscuits and gravy, and 2 eggs. It all was very good. My wife got the Western omelette, it also comes with toast or a biscuit. She said that it was very good and she couldn’t eat all of it. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Would go back again.

We had a great breakfast! Our eggs were cooked perfectly and biscuits and gravy were great!

Great food. Check out the meat store next to it.Brought some meat home to c ook. Was already great. Can't wait to go again while visiting the grave yard for my son.

My son and I went to the Feed Mill for the catfish. I ordered the dinner and he ordered the all you could eat catfish. The food was excellent!! It was hot and fresh. The service was sorely lacking. The server once she brought out our food she refilled our drinks and then she spent the rest of the time talking to some of her family who came in. They were even seated in another server's section. She charged my son for the dinner rather than the all you can eat since she never brought him anymore fish. We had also planned on ordering dessert but when she seen we were finished with our meal she brought our check. We even had to ask the hostess for a box so I could take home my leftovers. The other server that was working the room we were seated in was very busy and looked like she did her job well. Our server needed to focus on her tables and do her job. Receiving poor service is why I rated they way I did.

Farmers feed mill is competitively priced, very professionally mannered waitor who also joked with us , in my opinion that makes a great waitor or waitress someone who relates to there costumers , that will also joke with them. There was no wait we got escorted straight to our table. I Ordered the Hawaiian teriyaki chicken.
i started out with a salad, the salad was garden 😉 fresh. After a bit our waiter brought our food out. I took a bite if the chicken. It was almost breath taken. It was finger licken 👌good , it was like it melted in my mouth, for dessert coconut pie. All of there pies r made fresh daily😋, the pie was fresh an astonishing mumm good 👍. So come on out an get ya a good ole home cooked meal like grandma use to cook. They also have a place next to there restaurant that sells steaks , all kinds of meats. I’m so disappointed we have spent so much money this was are go to on lunch we could call it in and it was hot and ready to go. Over the weeks it’s gonna so bad. The food it’s good anymore they need the old cook back. It’s so sad to say today will be my last day eating there.

Food was just ok, no gravy on mashed potatoes, no butter for really dry cornbread muffin. Serving of meatloaf was on the small side.

Dad and I made trip to the Farmer's Feedmill from Evansville IN. Impressed enough to make this trip just for lunch.
The Pork on bun was really good had Onion Rings and coleslaw with the pork.
Onion Rings are some of best I can remember ever having
