In looking for a venue, we did so many site visits. The Apiary knows they have a unicorn - there is no place quite like it. It's gorgeous, it has a layout perfect for weddings and the food is unparalleled.

From the moment we worked with Ewing Anne to book the spot, we felt super attended to. We had so many questions about the flow of the day and Ewing Anne always answered them quickly and clearly and it put us at ease as we planned.

Our Chef's table day was also a huge fun part of the wedding planning process. I'm still dreaming about the lemon tart with honeycomb crunchies (I don't think that's the official name, but my mouth waters every time I think about it nonetheless). When we had our calls with Chef Tony to build out the menu, we had so much fun. I am from KY and my husband is from Japan, so we had a great time designing a menu with Tony incorporating both of our cultures and were so impressed with his culinary knowledge on how to incorporate aspects of both. He had so many great ideas that we were excited to use.

The Apiary also worked so well with all of our vendors as I think they almost all had experience working with each other, so that made things smooth and easy. The day of our wedding, everyone was complimenting the venue and during the reception - we had many people tell us they thought it was a bold choice to serve steak to that many people, but it was one of the best steaks they had ever had.

All in all, I'm so glad we went with The Apiary. There are also so many great places for photos! Our photos in front of that gate are gorgeous and the memories will be worth it.

Very nice and excellent food.

This place is absolutely magical!!! No detail has gone unnoticed. I’m particularly excited by their new event line-up that goes beyond the food (even though I still love their dinners, the food is always perfection).Whatever the apiary has cooked up - culinarily or otherwise, I know that every time I go there I will be whisked into a beautiful evening of enchantment and invited into the unexpected. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Apiary truly is an amazing wedding venue - beautiful event space, fabulous food! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was this: My daughter’s wedding was in late November and I was concerned that the porch area would be cold or chilly for the dinner tables there. I was assured that they had heaters and it would be “toasty.” On the day of the wedding, at least one of the heaters (someone said two but I’m not sure) was not working. The porch was in fact very chilly for those seated there, which is uncomfortable and wasn’t supposed to happen. Although it wasn’t anyone’s fault that heaters decided not to work, I DO blame them for not having backups. For the tens of thousands of dollars we paid for the wedding (this was in 2019), I would expect them to have back ups for such a scenario. It was a pretty big deal for those sitting at tables on the porch. Other than that, the wedding and venue were perfect.

Food was amazing. Beautiful interior. The ba n dcwas incredible. Justva wonderful time.

Epic yummy food

I had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding here in September and I cannot say enough good things about this venue. The grounds and the inside of the venue are stunning and so well kept. The staff were incredible and provided amazing service to all of the wedding guests. Ewing-Anne was incredible to work with. I’ve never felt more at ease as a wedding coordinator than I did at this venue. Thank you all for being so great to work with. I’m looking forward to working more weddings here in the future!
