The Apiary truly is an amazing wedding venue - beautiful event space, fabulous food! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was this: My daughter’s wedding was in late November and I was concerned that the porch area would be cold or chilly for the dinner tables there. I was assured that they had heaters and it would be “toasty.” On the day of the wedding, at least one of the heaters (someone said two but I’m not sure) was not working. The porch was in fact very chilly for those seated there, which is uncomfortable and wasn’t supposed to happen. Although it wasn’t anyone’s fault that heaters decided not to work, I DO blame them for not having backups. For the tens of thousands of dollars we paid for the wedding (this was in 2019), I would expect them to have back ups for such a scenario. It was a pretty big deal for those sitting at tables on the porch. Other than that, the wedding and venue were perfect.

I had the pleasure of coordinating a wedding here in September and I cannot say enough good things about this venue. The grounds and the inside of the venue are stunning and so well kept. The staff were incredible and provided amazing service to all of the wedding guests. Ewing-Anne was incredible to work with. I’ve never felt more at ease as a wedding coordinator than I did at this venue. Thank you all for being so great to work with. I’m looking forward to working more weddings here in the future!

This is one amazing wedding venue! Everything is always impeccable inside and out. As a wedding minister/officiant I have performed several weddings at The Apiary and they are always beautiful. The staff is great and the food is amazing.

This is a stunning setting to have your wedding ceremony and reception. Our service was held under their permanent tent followed by a reception that was the most elegant event I have attended in some time. Plenty of cozy nooks the one could visit with friends and relax while the reception was going full blast.

Apiary Fine Catering and Events is an absolutely stunning venue that will leave a lasting impression. I typically would not write a review as a guest, but I have to make an exception for the Apiary. My brother and his wife had their ceremony and reception here the weekend before last and it could not have been more perfect. Complimentary valet parking was available for the wedding and very appreciated. There isn't a ton of parking in the area so this is the perfect solution, especially on a rainy day. Valets were ready to go even when we arrived, about 45 minutes before the ceremony. Just remember cash to tip! The Apiary grounds and building are beautiful and well maintained with historical charm. The grounds were worth exploring with beautiful greenery, stone benches, and water features. The hard cover pavilion was the perfect spot for an outdoor wedding with protection from the rainy day. For a wedding of about 60 guests there was more than enough space. Inside, a lovely gathering room and bar area were comfortable for the time before and in between the festivities. The bridal party had a large cellar area to get ready. The bathrooms were conveniently located in between the ceremony site and reception room. The food here was absolutely amazing and truly on par with a meal at a fine dining restaurant. I live in Las Vegas and it was like eating at a fine restaurant here. The service was over the top with perfect timing and professionalism. The whole service team would line up to serve and remove courses at the same time. The attention to detail really added something to the event. Zero proof cocktails were offered to non-drinkers and the two children in attendance were provided special meals. Our meal started with Caesar Salads. It was one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had and a hearty portion. The Parker house rolls were warm and buttery. The Beef meal had delicious slices of tender beef, crispy potatoes, and green beans. The kid's meal was really tasty with both healthy options and foods kids typically love. The venue was on top of accommodating food allergies by asking each guest if they had allergies before the meal. The groom has food allergies and he was able to enjoy a lovely meal that evening. The Apiary sent an already beautiful event over the top. My brother and his wife made a fantastic choice in where to celebrate their big day.

The Omage dinner series are amazing. Definitely the best food you can get in Lexington. The drinks are top notch. Service is impeccable, and the vibe is beyond perfect. Absolutely love this place and always look forward to release of the newest theme.

I have assisted at this venue for a bridal party hair styling. A gorgeous space. However I was disappointed to learn that the venue was owned by individuals who I have had multiple unsavory experiences with in the restaurant industry. I was a server at several local restaurants in Lexington during my college years & each time I have encountered this family they have gone out of their way to be a negative part of my day. The first time i was serving them I carefully explained each ingredient in a breakfast special-including hot peppers- that they chose to order for their young children. They subsequently complained to the owner that I should have known that they were ordering the dish for their young children & “I should have known that it was too spicy for them.” At the next restaurant they just outright complained about me to my boss after we had had no interaction inside the business, just because they knew that I was working there. Then at the most recent restaurant where I was working, I saw them come in the first time & immediately informed the other staff of my situation & every time they came in, someone else would wait on them even if they were seated in my section. Horrible tippers regardless. Please don’t give these old money losers your hard earned money. Trust me, theirs is not earned.

The service, the food, the wine, and the sommelier were all absolutely topnotch and now that we have discovered this gem, we cannot wait to get back and try every other dinner possible.
