I took a weekend trip back home to Lexington and we got a bunch of Archa Nine take out to share. Overall pretty good and I'd go back to try more! Ob Woon Sen was the star, it was fantastic! Close second was chicken satay. It's not tender and juicy because it's super thin strips of breast meat like all satay but has a good bite to it and the peanut sauce was superb! Pad Thai was good for what it is, and I know Pad Thai is a very polarizing dish. This is the wetter, tomato based version, and it was a good version of that. I like the drier tamarind forward version personally so I wouldn't order it again but if you're a tomato-type person definitely try it! Crying Tiger was the only disappointment. The meat was cooked perfectly medium rare which was great but it's a tough cut of meat, didn't chew well and really had very little flavor on the meat itself. Everything came out through the dipping sauces which were all great but I think they missed an opportunity to infuse some deliciousness into the beef itself. I was going to order Kee Mao but my family convinced me to change at the last minute. Don't listen to family. The two locations have different menus, so be sure you have the right one pulled up before you start picking your food. I was super excited about fresh Summer rolls and lemongrass chicken and then found out I couldn't have them on this side of town :(

I went with a friend on a Thursday night at 5:30. No wait and you could easily get a seat. The food was really good. I had the fried rice with the soft shell crab. It was very good. My friend had the garlic lovers chicken. It was very good. The service was good. The later you go it will be harder to get a seat. One of my favorite Thai restaurants for sure. One of the best in lexington. I will for sure go back.

I love Archa Nine! They have a large menu and at my most recent visit I ordered my go to favorites which are the summer rolls and the hong kong noodle. The staff is always attentive and don't make you flag them down for orders or refills. Something to keep in mind when you visit is that the portions are more than generous. You either need to go late in the day when you've eaten nothing at all or be prepared to have some yummy leftovers for the next day or so! Archa Nine is definitely on the go to list when my friends and I can't make up our mind on where to eat.

The last time we were there for lunch the food tasted OK but there was not very much of the actual entree, mostly a big pile of rice. The person who waited on us was less than friendly. We were dining with a loved one who we had not seen in a while and got engrossed in conversation and lost track of time and we did not realize that it was their closing time. Instead of respectfully coming to our table and letting us know that it was their closing time, they started switching off the lights. Being open and conversing is a better policy that sending hints. We will not be dining there again as our overall experience the last time was not good.

I’ve been to Archa Nine since their only location was in Old Todds. The quality and flavor of their food get improved over the years. I visited their new location a couple of months ago and food was phenomenal! I kept going back every time I’m in town since I tried their new location. Combination of great Thai food, good service and nice ambience is hard to beat in Lex!

Lunch special menu was sad, no noodles dishes on it. Prices and quantity were obvious that they were punishing you. Ok so lunch special was $10 for a small plate. But the obvious choice I should have gone for was dinner portions, my neighbors plate was huge, then I could have at least been full.Food was lacking, I chose to order a curry, EXTRA CRISPY TOFU, off the lunch menu, figured it would be plenty. I was bored with the sauce, the heat was there, but the curry and sweet was lacking, crispy tofu, no.One more thing, Kayla made me feel extra welcome and dumber then I already am. I love feeling judged. Extra special experience. I have learning disabilities also social anxiety this kind of coldness causes me to feel very nervous and makes things very uncomfortable for me while I was ordering. She seemed to enjoy pointing out my 2 mistakes while I ordered. Embarrassing me in front of my sister

Celebrated my birthday here, and the staff was so friendly and helpful (getting us extra plates for the cake, help lighting the candles, etc.). The food was excellent and came out quickly. Excited to go back!
