The place has changed owner. The new person was very friendly. The food is not as good nor authentic compare to the old food. This is a downgrade of Chinese restaurant. We need better Chinese restaurants in Lexington.

I’m a huge fan of the Chinese food and Asian Bistro is one of my favorite places here in the area. It’s not only affordable, is also very tasty. Their Mei Fun has to be one of the best I’ve ever tried in my life!!! Their General Tsao is also pretty decent. So, if you’re looking for affordable and also tasty Chinese food, I recommend this place!

I decided to try out Asian Bistro Express. I chose not to read the reviews because I wanted to have my own experience. I was going to write a in depth review, But I I’ll keep it short. First, I won’t be back. I’m a huge supporter of local businesses, especially restaurants, and you can tell when the owners pour their Heart and soul in the food they prepare and serve. Let’s just say, I don’t get that vibe at all from this establishment. I ordered CKung Po chicken and Basil Thai chicken. Both orders were extremely disappointing, the ingredients of the kung po had a stale taste, and the chicken had the texture of imitation meat, it did not taste like chicken. The Thai basil chicken same issue with the texture and the flavor when it came to the chicken, Thai basil is very fragrant and aromatic, and the flavor of Thai Basil on any authentic Thai dish, is what cilantro is to authentic Mexican dishes. It was a very Disappointing experience.

The Hibachi Shrimp and the Mongolian Beef are VERY good! We will definitely order again! The shrimp came with delicious fresh vegetables in it, and the shrimp was tender and tasty.

Great Chinese food exists in Lexington! I was visiting from Maryland for a family golf tournament and discovered this place nearby our Airbnb. My wife is Chinese and I get made food made from her and her mom/dad all time. We had the Singapore noodles, Yang chow fried rice, general Tsos chicken & cashew chicken. Amazing food and will stop by again if we’re ever back in town.
