This place will be good again. I believe it was at some point. The sign and the website said they were open but I was treated like a pain and inconvenience. The BLT was good for a restaurant, the fries great. I ordered the brownie to go with ice cream and caramel sauce. The brownie tasted like a box brand and heard it thrown into the microwave even though I was taking it to go. I asked the host if they were open she said yes then proceeded to let me choose the table. The liquor license was gone due to new ownership. So no alcohol or bar. The waitress came to the table unusually late due to lack of people and after the Chef came out to ask if he should wait on me. The waitress never came back to the table. The Chef delivered my food, oh wait the waitress did bring me an almost empty ketchup bottle. I ordered the dessert from a woman that just came in with her coat on still asking if I needed anything, saying it's OK, I work here. I think this place will be good when they hire more enthusiastic employees and get back the liquor license. I usually go twice to a place before never going back. This time I will not. I would wait until they are busy before trying this place.

This would be a 5 star if service was better. Our group has been here several times. The food and band are always good. But the service is so friggin slow it's about to come off our list of date night locations. It's a shame too because the place has real potential.

The restaurant is completely changing from what it was the style/atmosphere it all now that they are under new management. It doesn't have a bar or a band anymore. They are getting rid of all decor it has now. And I'm sure even the name will change from barrel 53. There was no traffic in there we were the only ones there.

We reserved a table on Thanksgiving ahead of time as our options were limited and we were visiting the area from out of state. I was a bit skeptical based on other reviews; however, our experience was very good. We enjoyed our food from menu options, had a couple great local beers at a âHappy Hourâ price. Service was prompt and staff were friendly and helpful.

If you like good people, good music, good food, and a great selection of whiskey - this place is for you. The service was fantastic! They had a live blues band (every Thursday) and everyone is just so friendly and happy.

The food was, at best, okay. The sandwiches came out with too much mayo, which we hadnât ordered. Neither sandwich was ordered with onions. The inside of the place was nice, though. The salad was really good.
Stayed at the hotel and wandered down to get late night food. Food was great, atmosphere was great, bartender was great. Will return when back in town!

We were greeted and seared quickly. The server, âI can't answer your question, I've only been here two daysâ response was challenging; our order was incorrect, not on the ticket but in the kitchen. Slow service overall, food was OK; I wouldn't have used a Roma tomato on a burger slides long ways, bread was dry. Could have offered a regular burger, all the extra stuff is, well, extra, to make it sloppy to eat.
