The restaurant is completely changing from what it was the style/atmosphere it all now that they are under new management. It doesn't have a bar or a band anymore. They are getting rid of all decor it has now. And I'm sure even the name will change from barrel 53. There was no traffic in there we were the only ones there.

We reserved a table on Thanksgiving ahead of time as our options were limited and we were visiting the area from out of state. I was a bit skeptical based on other reviews; however, our experience was very good. We enjoyed our food from menu options, had a couple great local beers at a “Happy Hour” price. Service was prompt and staff were friendly and helpful.

The food was, at best, okay. The sandwiches came out with too much mayo, which we hadn’t ordered. Neither sandwich was ordered with onions. The inside of the place was nice, though. The salad was really good.

Stayed at the hotel and wandered down to get late night food. Food was great, atmosphere was great, bartender was great. Will return when back in town!

Serve was very nonchalant and was seen eating food off of my plate before bringing it to the table. Food was bland and the chicken tenders where tasteless.

We were greeted and seared quickly. The server, “I can't answer your question, I've only been here two days” response was challenging; our order was incorrect, not on the ticket but in the kitchen. Slow service overall, food was OK; I wouldn't have used a Roma tomato on a burger slides long ways, bread was dry. Could have offered a regular burger, all the extra stuff is, well, extra, to make it sloppy to eat.

The Old Guys Pub Crawl almost missed this place as it kind of blends in with a hotel look but the photos looked interesting and we are glad we crawled here. They have beer. We like beer in all the right places. The old codgers love this place. Like the other 80 or so places we have been, it is on our list to repeat. I don't think I can match the photo to the right bar, but they will all show up somewhere. Hey, at least 80 bars, maybe more, but that's about the average age of the Old Guys Pub Crawl. It would be higher but young Jim pulls the average down. If we are napping, just leave the beer on the table.
Had to wait to be seated, waited for our drinks, and our order was never taken, so we got up and left. Will not be going back.

We were a bit skeptical coming here at first for a lunch as we travelled to Ohio from Florida. The curb appeal does not do this place justice! I have to say, though, this place was a pleasant surprise ! Food was excellent and the atmosphere was what you'd expect from a bourbon-town. Do not hesitate to stop in. I imagine the dinner plates are just as excellent.

My mom, partner, and I came here tonight to try their burger week burger. It was delicious! Our waiter, Joseline, was kind and didn’t shy away from any requests from my mom. It was clearly getting busy and she was attending each table to the best of her abilities. She clearly has a talent for feeling for what each customer needs. Thank you Joseline for a fun night!
