Best filet in town. Also love the butter bourbon old fashioned. Molly is a delightful server. This quaint bistro in Chevy Chase is one of our favs! Highly recommend!
The food and drinks at Bella Cafe are always good. The staff members are so kind as well. It is a bummer that they would seat guests and have to immediately remind guests to make sure they aren't parked in the lot next to the restaurant so they don't get towed. Not being able to park in the lot isn't on Bella Cafe though, there's plenty of street parking. Just wish that as an area, merchants could work together and make it a happy community for residents and patrons.
We sat at our table for about 10-15 minutes before our server approached us. We didn't have menus during that time. My friend had to get up and find a fork from another table because he didn't have one at his place setting. We wanted to order cocktails for our meal but our server never came back around to check before we finished with our meals. We asked for another bottle of hot sauce, as the one we originally received was basically empty, but a replacement was never brought. Our table was in the hallway by the restrooms and kitchen door, so there was constant traffic flow by our table. The food is a bit overpriced for what you get. The "vegetable hash" is not hash, but a serving of home fries with a few pieces of mushrooms and onions, and was $7 for a small bowl. The $9 bowl of butternut squash soup was delicious. The staff is friendly.

I’ve always loved their grilled chicken wings — they’ve got that hint of lemon that makes them super refreshing, but the meat still stays juicy and tender. Never greasy, never heavy. I could eat these every day! 🍋🔥

This was wonderful!! When we come back to Lexington will always eat here. The filet was absolutely the best I have ever eaten. Cooked perfectly— was hot and crispy on the outside and medium rare on the inside!! Great. Drinks were great. Even the carrots with the steak were unique and delicious. Loved the waiter!!!!
First time dining there. We arrived for our 8:15 reservation and found a near empty facility, but it was Monday night. Everything went smoothly. Service, food and atmosphere was excellent.
Great spot for brunch. The European Brunch table was fabulous, and my brunch buffet was so delicious. Would definitely visit again when I'm in the area. Parking is difficult, very few spots on the street.
They are having wine problems Can't get what they need Not their fault Food is always good Same every time which is great Our waitress was beyond great So friendly & helpful
We spent a little more time at bar prior to going to our table so I'm sure we were beyond our reservation time. The server was nice but I felt like timing and service was disjointed. That said, we enjoyed catching up with our friends so the extended wait times weren't a deal breaker. The food and beverages were delicious.

I had a salad with halibut. The halibut was not very good. It appeared to have been sitting around too long. Didn't taste fresh, and was chewy. Quite disappointing, as I've had salmon with their salads in the past and they were cooked freshly and just right.
It was my first time here and I had a great time! This place is super cute and chic and the food was awesome.
Ian was our server . He made our evening very enjoyable! He couldn't have treated us any better!!! Great service and great food!
Excellent experience all around. Server was nice and helpful. The salmon croquettes were slightly overcooked, and the carrots were slightly undercooked but the lemon pie was amazing.
Always a great experience in Chevy Chase location. One of my favorites in Lexington. Consistently great food.
