Bella Cafe and Grille at Palomar

I usually don’t leave reviews but had to for this restaurant. Have eaten here three times now and every time it has exceeded my expectations. The filet mignon was reasonably priced and better quality than the “high end” restaurants in Lexington. The ambiance is also excellent. I will definitely be recommending and this is a new staple for my family and I.

Our server was terrific. Food was great. The Cafe Burger (Medium Well) was perfect. The Honey Brussel Sprouts were the best I had ever eaten. The bathroom was clean. We sat outdoors and it was nicely enclosed.

Everything about this place was great, but the portion size I got on the Forrest scramble was very small. Tasted great, but again the size was way smaller than expected

What a gem to have in Lexington! We've come for Sunday brunch and multiple times for dinner now. Everything from the food, to the service & dining experience - always a 10/10. ⭐

Gorgeous place for brunch with a pleasant, cheerful atmosphere. We ordered brunch meals ($25) that came with a self-serve pastry buffet that was the perfect amount. Really enjoyed the experience and the flavors.

Bella Café is a cozy, welcoming spot with amazing food. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable. The halibut was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!

Excellent food and atmosphere. One member of our group has Celiac disease and was able to find a couple of choices that were gluten free and enjoyed his meal without having any problems.

I seriously think that this is the perfect place to eat in Lexington. No matter the server, they are excellent. The food is always inventive and wonderful. The drinks are the right level of alcohol. You keep making it, well keep coming. Sitting in the back left so we can people watch.

I met a friend there for lunch on Friday. After placing our order for burgers and fries, the power went out (thanks to the remnants of Hurricane Helene). ? Our server brought our fries, but they were unable to finish cooking our burgers. We thought maybe the power would come back on, so we continued to catch up, enjoy our beverages and the fries. The staff turned away others that wanted to have lunch and avoid the rain and crazy wind because there was still no electricity. We stayed there over 2 hours; staff was great & very accommodating. The Manager was kind enough to give each of us a $15 Bella Cafe gift card! I love this restaurant even if we didn't get to enjoy our burgers.

Small but varied menu with specials and seasonal items offered. Great service and enjoy the feel of the restaurant like dining in a beautiful home. They offer a jazz brunch on Sundays that we are looking forward to trying.

I met a friend there for lunch. We were very much looking forward to this meal because in the past their food has been superb. When we walked in the cafe, it had a terrible smell of fish and I don't know what, so we asked to sit on the patio, which was very nice. Glad they had that option. I ordered a crispy chicken salad. The chicken was delicious; the rest of the salad was scant on ingredients. My friend ordered the pesto ceasar salad. She said it was very good. Our server was attentive and polite. When we left the cafe, it still had that awful smell. Overall the experience was good but not fabulous.

Have been to both locations and never had a bad meal.

I have been dining a few times after Church and it is always been nice The only issue today was the bacon literally burnt like cardboard ... Rather than that everything else was good as usual. Great service and good value

This was our first visit to Bella Cafe. We went for brunch, and every entree included a visit to the European brunch buffet. The chicken and waffles and the avocado toast were both delicious, and the pastries at the bar were a nice selection, and also delicious. Our server was informative and attentive, and answered all our questions. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We decided we would need to come back to try several of the dinner entrees, and also to sit outside sometime for drinks and dessert. I would highly recommend this restaurant, it was outstanding.

My fav restaurant never gets old!! Started with the always tasty spinach dip and the paperplane cocktail. Had the scallops with cauliflower truffle purée so delicious!! Others had the special steak sandwich and wings with side salad ending with the budino which is heavenly!
