Bella Cafe and Grille at Palomar

Our server, Alecia, was wonderful. I ordered Halibut - it's a nice light, flaky fish. I have had it many, many times all over the world . It has never been charcoal grilled! All I could taste was the charcoal. It was overcooked and the bun was burned. The slaw was much too spicy. The French fries were cold. ......

We went to celebrate a birthday. The food was mostly delicious. The burger needed salt. But the more frustrating part was that on two separate occasions we ordered drinks - one was not even entered and then the second took a very long time to come with little to no apology on either. Will always go to the Chevy Chase location from now on.

Very welcoming atmosphere. Lovely variety of menu options. The halibut, salmon and steak dishes shine. Consistently impeccably prepared. Bartenders and wait staff as well as managers are helpful and friendly

Always enjoy Bella!! And you can actually have a conversation, because it is not loud. Our server was attentive and had a wonderful personality! The dessert was fantastic.

We were packed in like sardines! Thursday lunch, no special holiday but the place was to capacity. Unfortunately the owner has crammed in as many tables as is legal. The back of my chair hit the back of the next table's occupant. I am local and had made a reservation but I won't be back. Surely the owner can take a tiny cut in profits and give the customers some space to enjoy the food!

I have eaten at Bella Cafe several times and it has always been EXCELLENT in every way. The food is outstanding and the service is great. I would highly recommend and I will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful meal for Mother's Day on the patio. Our server Alysa went above and beyond. A lovely time.

Eggs Benedict come in different versions, and all were quite tasty. Our group of four had a nice Easter Brunch at Bella Cafe and Grill. We had reservations and were promptly seated. Our waitress was engaging, helpful, busy, and got to us promptly under the circumstances. We all enjoyed our food selections, and the pastry/meats buffet that comes with Brunch selections at no extra charge. A nice touch. Bella Cafe had a WORKING espresso machine, and our cappuccinos were excellent. Unlike Bella Notte, which has not had a working espresso machine for what seems like years. Each time we eat at Bella Notte, I ask if the cappuccino machine is working. It isn't. And we eat there 3-4 times a year and have for years. Oh, I wish I could get an espresso or cappuccino at Bella Notte! But I digress, Bella Cafe was delightful and sunny. And energetic, which is appropriate for Easter.
