I drove by on my way home from work & saw some people eating outside. I quickly pulled over because who doesn’t love a quaint deli but especially one decked out in UK decor?! Service was amazing, atmosphere was fun, & the sandwiches were great & not super overpriced! 5/5 & I will definitely be going back!

Um... YUM! My son and I stopped in for lunch. He got grilled cheese which he rated 10 out of 5 stars and I ordered a pesto sandwich that was amazing! I don't know if the fact I did not have to make this sandwich made it taste more incredible or if it really was just that delicious. I am leaning towards the latter of the two, but seriously, great little deli!

A perfect spot for a quick lunch! Great sandwich, and not to mention they had gluten free bread. Owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. Really cool atmosphere as well. 10/10 recommend!

Big Blue Deli is a small sandwich shop downtown near Transylvania University. It has an eclectic array of memorabilia of UK Basketball history. Golf clubs, other types of possessions of past players, coaches. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The place is small so if busy you may have a little bit of a wait but they hustle. Food is above average and freshly made. Not much seating so recommend to do a take out order during lunch.
