Bluegrass Distillers Downtown Lexington

My wife and I arrived for a 9am tour and tasting. We were met by Katie who took wonderful care of us. She gave us great information, and her bubbly personality really set the tone for the tour. Bluegrass is a new distillery, but have backing and have really put together a great operation. I'm excited to see their bright future.

The Burbon was wonderful as was the distillery itself. However it would have been nice if the guide who was sick either wore a mask, or stayed home since we got sick from him, and we now are missing work.

The new build looks great. We did not have time to do a tour, but the bar and seating area are great to hangout at. Staff is great and very friendly. I recommend.

Went 4 yrs ago when they were still in Lex, so glad to see how they are progressing - the farm, main house, and! bar are great! We are so happy for you - had a great tour around the new facility. Looking forward to the years to come.

So we kind of wound up here on accident while looking for a distillery near Equis winery. What a great experience. The retired gentleman at the historic house who led our bourbon tasting was knowledgeable and so fun. Sorry we failed to get his name. We bought the toasted oak and will be making a return trip.

Amazing hidden gem in Kentucky! The staff was amazing and the tour/tasting was excellent. I would easily recommend this tour to any bourbon lovers.

I was looking for a cute Kentucky bourbon distillery to visit and Bluegrass did not disappoint. They have a great property and a knowledgeable bartender who poured a lovely flight for a tasting. Super accommodating even if you are dropping in end of day. Definitely worth a visit!

The new visitors center is beautiful, the bar is comfortable, staff welcoming, and bourbon nice. Two limited expressions were available and both were so good that I bought a bottle of each.

Had an amazing tasting experience with Tom. So very knowledgeable about his products and the processes used to produce it. Everything we tasted was delicious! Definitely make this a stop on your tour of Kentucky Bourbon.

Their website says the downtown location is open 10-5 on Saturdays, but they have a sign on the door that this location is closed.

This distillery was amazing to visit. The bourbon & whiskey was great to taste and I love the hear the history of the distillery. I highly recommend visiting and getting a tasting!

The gentleman knew his stuff. It would have been nice to see the actual process.
