I really like Boonedogs! I’ve come here twice, and both times have been fun!
Today, I got a hot dog and it was DELICIOUS. The hot dog was great quality, and I liked being able to customize it to my taste (I just had beer cheese on mine, but they have a lot of options). They have a LOT of customization options, as well as signature hot dogs to try. They have other options besides hot dogs, too. Their drinks are good, too! The cocktails are fun and they have a good selections of draft beers, etc.
The servers/employees are nice and attentive. I have not had any bad experiences with them. I also one time needed to move tables three times, and I appreciated their flexibility, as they understood and were not rude.
The atmosphere is super cool! It is an indoor-outdoor space, with many picnic tables, outdoor lights and patio space, and a garage-esque indoor area. It feels very laid back and casual, but not run-down. It is a cool vibe, and fun to check out, especially on a day with nice weather!!

My family and I came in as Lexington transplants and wanted to try all the local eats. Boonebogs was great! Super quick service and delicious food, for a hotdog place the burger was almost better than the dogs. Our server Casey (I hope I spelled that right) was so nice and made our trip worth it on her service alone. She was funny and kept on top of everything we never had to ask for refills! We will be back for the food and for her as well!

The food is good and creative. Where else can you get mac and cheese served on a hot dog? The one downside is inside is a small area and so you could get stuck outside subjected to the weather and the picnic tables which is not my favorite seating style. There are often dogs in the outside area so if you're allergic, pick another place.

Came out with my team for Octoberfest fight night and had a blast! The food was fantastic and even though it was a super busy night they were so well prepared the food came right away and the drink line was super quick! Can’t say enough! Thank you guys so much for having us it was an absolute pleasure to be there!

Oh momma 🤩 Boonedogs got me feeling like one happy customer. Big, no, SUPER big ween dogs that feed enough to put jesus to shame. Fish and bread? I would rather have brews and brats with my best of crazy fellas. Boonedogs for life! I am looking forward for when the build a second one in heaven so Jesus and I can share some sweet meat and beatiful beers when I pass on. 😎👍 Great for families

This place was beyond horrible! Do not go here, the service was terrible, extremely rude waitress and lied! Bacon on sandwich burnt on one end, under cooked on other, how does that happen.one sandwich covered in mustard. Supposedly Mac and cheese made to order, what a joke, pretty sure from a box!Bad bar food at best! When tried to talk to waitress she became super defensive, lied and did nothing, stormed off and said she ain’t losing her job!

Everything about Boonedogs is fantastic — the food is delicious, the atmosphere is fun and welcoming, and the service is always top-notch.
Today’s visit was especially wonderful thanks to our server, Berea. She was not only an excellent server but also incredibly kind and thoughtful. She went above and beyond to make our experience special, and we were genuinely touched by her warm heart and caring nature.
We’re so grateful for Berea, and can’t wait to come back — Boonedogs is truly a gem!
