I really like Boonedogs! I’ve come here twice, and both times have been fun!

Today, I got a hot dog and it was DELICIOUS. The hot dog was great quality, and I liked being able to customize it to my taste (I just had beer cheese on mine, but they have a lot of options). My family and I came in as Lexington transplants and wanted to try all the local eats. Boonebogs was great! Super quick service and delicious food, for a hotdog place the burger was almost better than the dogs. Our server Casey (I hope I spelled that right) was so nice and made our trip worth it on her service alone. She was funny and kept on top of everything we never had to ask for refills! We will be back for the food and for her as well!

The food is good and creative. Where else can you get mac and cheese served on a hot dog? The one downside is inside is a small area and so you could get stuck outside subjected to the weather and the picnic tables which is not my favorite seating style. There are often dogs in the outside area so if you're allergic, pick another place.
