Wow. Just wow. I've been to New orleans, I have eaten authentic gumbo. This is authentic gumbo in Lexington Kentucky of all places. I was so impressed. Next time I'm in the town it is definitely a must stop for me. If you've never been here and you like Cajun food, do yourself a favor and swing in you won't be disappointed.

This is my yearly pilgrimage to Lexington and Bourbon and Toulouse is always part of it. Year after year the food is consistently amazing! The staff are kind and the decor is colorful and fun. Today I had the black beans and sausage and the Cajun chili. 10/10. My daughter had the black beans and sausage and jambalaya also a 10/10. If you’ve never been here you need to come. You’ll thank me later. It is worth it every single time.Vegetarian options: I was excited to see the vegetarian options were great looking and something I’ll definitely try next time.

I'm very picky about my Cajun/Creole food and this place is amazing. I was in town for a conference and someone at UK recommended this place and the food is great and the atmosphere is so unique! Cannot beat the value at all.
Legit New Orleans style cuisine! Make sure to get a drink if you can't handle the heat! So good! They give samples too so you only pick something you love.
