Wow! If you love bourbon… if you love craft cocktails and craft beer… B&R is a MUST!!! We had a perfectly balanced sour, a spirit forward old fashioned (smoked peel!) and their Coffee & Smoke which is a fun twist on a Manhattan with their own smoky flair.
We arrived too late for their full menu, but their bar bites definitely did not disappoint…. The wings!!!!
We will be back every time we’re in Lexington!
Cool decor and attentive, friendly bartender. This place could be a lot of fun, I bet. But the food is not very good. Overly ambitious, with too many ingredients that are not executed very well.
The basic margaritas were almost flavorless and everything we ate (barilla egg rolls and several types of tacos), were bland and the ratio of carb (rice, ramen, shell, etc) to other ingredients was very off. Universally, from drinks to tacos, a lack of acid was a problem.

Drinks were good and bartenders had attention to detail with each cocktail. The worst part was that it took 40 minutes for food to come out, and it was all cold. Burger slider could have been good. The chicken slider was burnt and inedible. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the food.
