I got the French Toast and a chai latte . The french toast was pretty basic and had no flavor. And the chai just had a bunch of cinnamon and tasted like milk with no flavor of chai. Presentation looked good but the food was something you could make at home with basic ingredients.

First off, this isn’t the servers fault.
The kitchen is just lazy. My girlfriend asked for a grilled cheese sandwich with no tomato. When they brought the food to the table it had a tomato in it.
The server apologized and then proceeded to grab the sandwich with her hands and take it to the back while saying it was going to be thrown out since it was wrong.
She then came back to the table with a “new” sandwich in less than a minute and handed it to my girlfriend.
Right away we knew this was the same sandwich as before as it was not warm the way a “new” sandwich would be, but also it still had the imprints of the tomato in it and residue left behind.
Shame on the kitchen and the cooks for not paying attention to customer requests.

Not terrible, but not worth the wait or the bother. After a 30-minute wait, we were seated and served water, and then waited another 15 minutes for our server to take our drink and food order. Our food came about 20 minutes later, and it was of mediocre quality, and definitely not worth the price. The quiche was edible, but not enjoyable. The crust is a thin pre-made pie shell. The filling was insubstantial and oddly seasoned. Hashbrown casserole also had a strange tangy-sour flavor, and the fruit cup was just grapes and pineapple chunks. This was two trips in one for us - first, and last.

Went for brunch, which ends at 1:30, was denied the brunch menu after tables around us were offered both. Not sure why we were denied, but they’ve lost a truly long time customer with how we were treated. Food used to be good, has gone down hill significantly and the staff are all seemingly untrained or uncaring. Regardless, do not give this place your money. Simply not worth it. Beau’s Cafe, Ramsey’s, or Doodle’s are GREAT substitutes.

We had Laurie as our server last night and it was such a pleasure. She had great suggestions, even one to save us money, was so super friendly and always smiling. She made my son his "super chocolatey chocolate milk which he said was the best ever. Whenever our drinks got around halfway, she appeared with fresh drinks for everyone. The food was fabulous, and she was right, best fries in town. I have never seen her there before so I assume she is new, but I hope we she can be our server next time we come.

We love the book store and go to the bistro often. BUT the service is awful. There are enough servers they just disappear! Don’t come to check after they deliver a meal. We had a complaint and couldn’t find anyone to talk to. Finally someone saw my husband looking around. (The servers were sitting in the back not doing anything - it looked like). Anyway he told the server what we needed and was told that he would pass this on to our server. Well after 10 minutes I went to find someone and our server happened to come out. No one ever told her anything! Where is the manager!!! Do they not see the servers sitting around?? Our server fixed our problem but I had sat 15 minutes before being able to eat my meal after it came. They need mangers that correct the service problem! Our server was apologetic and very nice but the manager should be out and come to apologize.

I couldn’t eat there tonight, therefore my review except for service, is from a prior visit. Although the place was half empty tonight there was a 25 minute wait. Probably kitchen problems. They have an incredibly ridiculous rule. . When there’s a wait you cannot sit at the empty bar and have a glass of wine. If your intent is to order food at some point you can’t sit at the bar. If you don’t intend to order food you can sit ar the bar. For a place that has very thin margins why not sell a glass of wine while someone is waiting for a table. The restaurant service staff, including the manager, have no personality and clearly would prefer to have the restaurant empty. After spending nearly a $100 on a gift they could have at least let me buy a glass of wine!

I come here semi frequently, & have to say that this time around was extra great. my server Lilli was totally on it. I had everything I needed, my appetizer and entree were perfectly paced, and she was super sweet. Their salmon pesto special is awesome, along with their goat cheese crostini appetizer. portions were great for the price, wine selection is tolerable with familiar names. My favorite place to come for a relaxed lunch :)

Every time I visit this establishment it takes an exorbitant amount of time to receive our food and drinks which usually come out wrong. The serving staff is very friendly, however the managers aren’t welcoming or helpful in any manner and their wait times for receiving a table are inconsistent by at least 30 minutes from calling to arriving at the restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for anything other than a nice tea time.

I really want to like eating here but have issues every time I stop. They never have the item I am wanting and have to change my order last minute. Takes forever for a server to stop and take my order. Waited for over half an hour for my check and had to get up and go to the hostess stand and ask to pay. I should have just left. Over all from the time I sat down to when I asked to pay it was well over an hour and a half, and.it was just me. So hope you are not in any hurry. The food and service use to be amazing here but has really gone downhill the last couple years. You have better luck eating at one of the other restaurants nearby.

the dining experience in this restaurant never changes no matter how long its been since i last visited this place. The food is always great and so is the service. Get their tiramisu, its top tier; way better than cheesecake factory.
