Brontë Bistro at Joseph-Beth

Very good Egg Benedict, tasty. Generous portions of the hollandaise sauce. Comes with side of fruit and hash browns/potatoes. Good service, we didn't feel rushed. I enjoy the setting since it is situated inside of the book store. Gives me a chance to browse for the latest books.

The brisket sandwiches were amazing! Loved the crispy fries as well! The dessert however was not. Brownie was hard and dry. They gave me the TINIEST “scoop of icecream” on top:

Our server was kind, and that's about the end of the positive experiences. My wife's breakfast sausage was like a 1/6 inch shaving off a hockey puck. Cold hashbrown casserole. Table behind us complained about food quality as well. You'll think to yourself, cute spot over there let's get brunch! Try somewhere else.

Have no idea what it would be like. After waing a few minutes I approached the counter to ask if I could be seated and a rude little girl said the host would do it. He came and walked me to talbe through the menu down and walked away. After 11 minutes and having not one single employee speak to me I got up and walked out. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

Ordered breakfast plate, and it was all ice cold. Eggs, toast, bacon. Everything. The scenery was fine, so I’d stop by for drinks maybe. But for food, hard pass.

Peter Larkin and Bistro are an amazing bunch of people that keep this place going. We appreciate the hospitality they gave us as we came for our monthly ladies senior luncheon. We had a small issue and when we notified Mr. Larkin, he immediately stepped up to make things right for our group! We all (13) really appreciate how he stepped right up to address the situation and his efforts to make things right. We will definitely be going back to the Bistro !!

At this point just stop it stop cooking. Is anyone reading the reviews? My fish sandwich was disgusting old tired piece of over cooked ick with a dilapidated piece of greenery and a washed out piece of tomato no cheese which might’ve saved it fries were ok service ok the bathroom smelled like sewer like it has since this place opened ugh why did I come here well I had a 25$ gift certificate won’t be back ever. Stop cooking!!!!

The service here was very slow. We waited 20 minutes to order and 35 for our food. The server we had didn’t have a good understanding of the menu and put in what she thought I ordered instead of a similar dish that I actually ordered.

The food was fantastic. Was a little slow getting the food to us but once it got there it was really good. I had the marsella and noodles and added grilled chicken. My husband had the stuffed salmon. Both were fantastic.

I was turned away at 8:10 when they close at 9:00. So disappointing and I also told them the google listings stated 9:00. They stated their staff needed time to clean.

Service was not good. Our food took about 45 minutes to come and my 5 year old son’s burger came last. Definitely not as good food or service as it used to be.
