If you work in downtown lex and haven't been to Pasta bar ... then you. haven't. lived. Here's the deal: Every thursday for lunch, the Radisson, does a pasta buffet and it is literally as good as it gets. it's about 9 bucks. You get a skillet, fill it with as much veggies and proteins as you like, get your choice of pasta, sauce, and extras (pesto, spices, garlic, etc). You also get a salad bar (Use it, that means more pasta bar leftovers for dinner). This is a big rush for them, so don't waste the 2 bucks on a soda, you'll barely see your waiter (since they don't have to bring you food). After a drink and tip the whole thing will set you back around 12 bucks, but it's well worth it. It's a great setting for meeting up with friends and getting away from campus (go cats!) or getting away from work. I recommend, chicken, pepperoni, white sauce with penne pasta, garlic, and cajun spices. SO good. Also, if you are trying to eat light, you can skip the sauce and have your pasta prepared with olive oil. So if you are in Lexington and it's Thursday, GO, because I can't =(
