My husband gets me a special birthday cake each year, this year it came from Caramanda’s. This cake was the best I have ever had, it was a white cake with white buttercream icing and yellow roses. Absolutely top notch , moist, not too sugary and just perfect. This is number one bakery in Lexington, KY. Great customer service. I asked my husband if we could do a mid year birthday cake since his was so fabulous. I have shared with many and keep doing what you all do! Deliver your best product! Thank you for making my day special.My cake and icing are what I like best.

Our adult children and ourselves were both traveling out of state to meet halfway for a weekend visit in Lexington. We wanted a special cake to celebrate our grand babies upcoming birthdays. We found Caramanda’s online and it was close to our hotel. It was so easy to place an online order and pick up was a breeze! We were so taken aback when we got to see all the yummy confections they have in house to purchase and the cake we got was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!!! It was very moist and the icing was just the right amount of sweetness!! It was a huge hit with the family and a very special memory we’ll have for a lifetime! Caramanda’s is wonderful and we will certainly be ordering again on our visit to Lexington!!

Caramanda’s definitely made my birthday a little more special this year. My husband and I were in Lexington for the weekend and decided to stop by and see if they had any cakes in the display as a last minute celebration. Not only was this chocolate cake adorable, it was absolutely delicious. Will be back for any special events we celebrate in Lex!

I have ordered a birthday cake from Caramanda’s for the past two years and both times were beautiful, exactly as I asked (one was their design, another was a custom and they executed our request flawlessly!). They even were able to let me move up the cake order date by a day due to needing it early because of a snow storm. The design was as described and SO delicious. Highly recommend if you want what I’d describe as a dainty, buttercream style cake! I’ll share a pic in the comments. :)

Had them make my daughters wedding cake and as far as taste it was great but everything thing else was amateurish the cake was crooked and the piping was not professional at all and we actually paid extra for the piping several blemishes and bad spots for the price was really expecting better work in this day and time $450.00 is a lot of money

Love this place! Tried it for the first time today and the treats were divine! The person helping me was kind and professional.

We ordered 120 cupcakes, different varieties, for an out of town wedding reception, and everyone wanted to know where they came from! They were packaged safely from Caramanda's in Lexington, KY and taken to a venue in Eastern TN - looked beautiful and displayed at the reception. Thank you for working with us and helping us with suggestions and ideas.

Hands down the absolute worst place in Kentucky to order a cake from.

This is the second time we have bought a cake from them and both times overpriced and under performed!

After taking the time to complete their online cake quote request and uploading the posted artwork, I got back a cake that was not much larger than a cupcake and the wrong color.

What’s even more upsetting is walking in and seeing 10 cakes on display that are the color we requested and somehow the geniuses at Caramanda’s see orange as yellow.

I guess all the brains and customer service moved to Southland Drive with Critchfields.
