The best bakery in Lexington. I get all my cakes from here. My sister-in-law says she never eats wedding cake but the cake at my son’s wedding (the white chocolate raspberry) she said she had two pieces.

I ordered a custom cake for my husband’s birthday four days in advance, consulted with the bakery in person, and prepaid. When I arrived at the prearranged pick up time, NO CAKE had been prepared!!! This is unacceptable! Unprofessional! We now have a birthday party WITHOUT A CAKE! What if it had been a wedding cake? A wedding without A CAKE? DO NOT DEPEND ON THIS BAKERY and let them ruin your day! I never leave negative reviews, but this mistake is unacceptable in every way. I guess I’ll go to Kroger or Sam’s and see if they have anything at the last minute. Thanks for nothing Caramandas.

Terrible customer service as they only want to email. Was willing to spend whatever I needed to on a birthday cake. They would not even call me to finish the details for ordering when I asked them.Never will be ordering a cake from this company again!
Apparently the staff at Caramanda's are Star Wars fans, because their kitchen operates a Death Star turbolaser firing test that can absolutely annihilate expectations. Needed a cake for my wife's birthday party and they had it ready on time, and it was damn delicious. That's the bare minimum though; I wouldn't leave a good review for a good cake that's made on time. It was that they followed up with me about the email I sent to make sure my cake was the proper color, giving me a phone call and getting down all my instructions to make sure everything was right. It's the level of care in customer interactions that's getting pretty rare post-covid, and I really appreciated. Also, people at the party praised me for this cake like I made and decorated the damn thing myself. It was absolutely gorgeous. Everyone loved the baroque, vintage style piping on the cake. I am the birthday king. Hail Caramanda's!

Instead of getting a birthday cake for my aunt’s 60th we custom ordered a cake to celebrate her recent hole in one on the golf course. Something she preferred to celebrate.Creative and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, I can't recommend them enough!

Caramandas did our cakes and cupcakes for our wedding! They did a fabulous job and even delivered the cakes to our venue! They came in a timely fashion, decorated my cake just the way I wanted, and everything tasted delicious! Cannot recommend them enough!!
Caramandas made our wedding cake, grooms cake, and cupcakes and everything turned out delicious! I took them flowers to add to the cake and it looked AMAZING! We both had spice cake for our cakes and it was so delicious! They’re hands down the best!

The cakes and cupcakes here are exceptional but the customer service is horrible.... i had a customized wedding cake did here in 2020, it was good but the service sucked. Graduation cake back in May, it was beautiful and delicious.... service sucked. They offer the small cake for free 1 year anniversary if you buy wedding cake but we did not pick up.Today i purchased a little cake straight off shelf for 3yr anniversary (nothing special or custom) ... i hope its good cause the service was, as usual... unacceptable. I believe I spoke with the owner or manager who had the most rude and unpleasant demeanor ive witnessed. Needless to say, I will not return nor will i recommend!

Great location for the new bakery in town, the ambiance and display variety is stunning. There is a special room/space for wedding cake displays, must visit if you’re shopping around for a great wedding cake. They do make custom cake designs whether it be concept or photo printing based.

I order a wedding cake with very little details and Taylor and Melissa made the perfect cake. I could. Not have asked for a better experience. They were wonderful. Thanks guys for making my fathers wedding perfect !!

Never order a cake from here. I had ordered a cake for my grandfather’s 80th birthday. They called 2 days before the event saying that the designer quit and they could not make the cake to the specific specifications that I had requested. When they called they said to come at a later time to pick up the cake, they had already closed. The did not give a courtesy call or leave any kind of message.Then one of the employees who worked in the evening time on cakes saw my message that I had posted on the door, came and delivered the cake.The cake came damaged and the design was nothing like I wanted. They completely messed up the cricket field despite me giving them ample pictures showcasing what it looked like. Then they made the soccer field smaller than the rest of the fields for no reason. The words were in the wrong place It was completely wrong. Very disappointed as the cake did not resemble anything that I wanted. The cake did not taste good either.Because we weren’t able to get the cake, we bought a generic cake at Sam’s Club that tasted so much better. If they were not able to make the cake into my specific specifications, they should have told me and I would have gone somewhere else.Talking with management was near impossible and then they blamed us for their mistakes with the cake. Would not give a refund or a discount. The manager said that he would call me back and never did. They are compete frauds. So if you are planning an event, I would not order from them. I would go to Mondelli’s Bake Shop up the street on Pimlico Parkway or even Sam’s Club/Walmart/Kroger because their services and staff are way better.TLDR: Stay away from them as they are frauds and will ruin your event and blame you for their mistakes. The management is terrible.
