Carry out and drive through only, but that said, it "travels well." We order this about once or twice a month. Ingredients always fresh, flavors good. Prices quite reasonable. A good answer for dinner or lunch on a busy night. I personally love the Hunan Combination. Big shrimp, beef, chicken with vegetables in a light brown sauce. Good flavors, wholesome meal. The curry is also quite tasty, as is General Tso's.

We love Chengs. Enough to drive from Versailles to get our take away! The combination platters have lots of food and we've never been dissatisfied.

Small portions and more expensive than other restaurants of the same quality. This was $18.

We live out of town and drove to eat here and told can’t eat inside anymore. Covid is over so I guess they don’t want our business anymore!

We ordered Beef Lo Mein and Moo Goo Gai Pan with a couple of egg rolls. Both dishes presented well and tasted fresh but unfortunately the carrots and zucchini in the MGGP were under-cooked and hard. The egg rolls were also disappointing and seemed to be "leftovers" from the lunch menu. Portion sizes were decent and service was quick but I am not sure we will make the trip to try Cheng's again. A side note: we did order right at 4:30pm when they opened so perhaps the woks/kitchen staff weren't quite warmed up enough.

They have changed, not the same. Ordered $35 for food , no sauce’s in the bag despite saying they had put it there. Taste has changed. Had to drive around twice for correct order. Won’t be going

Just so you know, and despite what anyone on the phone tells you, their lobby is NOT open for dine in.Just drove 45 minutes - after calling to confirm we could eat in the dining area - to be told no we could not eat in. We could walk in to the restaurant and place a to go order, but we could not sit at any of the empty booths or tables.Very, very disappointing since this used to be our favorite spot for dinner.

This is the best Chinese take-out place I've had in Lexington. I love that they have a drive thru pick up window.

I'm jinxed trying to order by phone, so I've given up. Last two times I've ordered inside. Service is fast, food is wonderful. Best tasting Orange Chicken in town.

Cheng's is one of the better Chinese restaurants I've been to in Lexington. The food was fresh and prepared quickly for a to-go order. The portions are smaller than what I'm used to from other Chinese restaurants but still plenty for 1 big meal!

Tender chicken and flavorful sauces! Very fresh. Ambiance is quiet with no music so I recommend the drive thru

THE best and our favorite period. We drive from Harrodsburg if we want Chinese food. They are so kind and prompt too!

Great restaurant… first authentic Chinese food I’ve had since I moved from New York. If you’re vegetarian you can always ask them to change the meat to tofu.. had “beef” (tofu) with broccoli… friendly staff.
