I haven’t been to many bars in Lexington but I can safely say this is the best bar in the state. I immediately felt like a long lost brother. The bar tenders and patrons treat the bar like it’s their home. A million inside jokes exist in this bar and they will fill you in on the jokes. Makers is $6 and they have some tasty beers on draft. Martha is a true gem. Along with Rob, Norm, Brooke, and Sara. I couldn't ask for a better local bar that is always welcoming and full of wonderful people. If you're visiting Lexington and on the cusp, this is a must visit!
My friend and I stopped by on the way through Lexington. Although we were out-of-towners and had never been to this bar, the staff and patrons made us feel right at home. If you are looking for a non-pretentious bar with good brews and quality people, this is the spot for you.
