Brisket had a great smoky flavor but found it to be pretty dry. The pulled pork was basically the same. Not nearly as dry. Mac and cheese was the best part of the meal. Wasn’t a fan of how strong the beans tasted.

My mother in law wanted some macaroni and cheese and chicken. I recommended City BBQ. She's never been there. She had green beans, macaroni and cheese, sliced turkey, and pulled chicken. We shared a banana pudding for dessert. I had a great experience with our cashier, very pleasant 😊, Angele.
City Barbecue on Richmond Rd never disappoints! Their pulled pork and brisket are tender, juicy, and packed with hickory smoke flavor—exactly what good BBQ should be. The hushpuppies are to die for: crispy, hot, and fresh every time. The mac & cheese is rich and creamy, a perfect comfort side.
I also really appreciate their variety of house-made sauces — sweet, spicy, tangy — something for everyone. And the portion sizes are generous, so you’re definitely getting your money’s worth whether you’re feeding a family or saving some for later.

Cori is the best and most attentive to all customers needs. This is the best smoked turkey I’ve ever had, I used to love Sonny’s but now I will only go to City BBQ. I WILL CONE FOR THE TURKEY AND STAY FOR THE BRISKET.
