Crank & Boom is a MUST for special occasions in our dairy free household. All of their flavors are delicious but they have absolutely outdone themselves with their dairy free caramel coconut delight! Incredible!! 🤤

The employees were incredibly kind and was nice to be around. They gave great recommendations if you liked certain flavors. The ice cream they had was phenomenal hands down the best I've ever had. Amazing place 20/10 would recommend to everyone.

The ice cream was horrible. Didn’t do anything for me. Disgusting. There were bugs 🪳 crawling on the floor! Stay away!

Wow! This place has wonderful craft ice creams. Including my favorite Bourbon Rootbeer Float. Made with Bourbon ice cream and creamy IBC root beer, and vanilla ice cream. Worth the stop!! Best ice cream I've had yet in Lexington!

While the ice cream at Crank & Boom is utterly delicious, our overall experience was completely lacking. When my partner and I visited yesterday, two associates behind the counter were deeply engaged in their own conversation (my partner described it as "flirting"). They didn't acknowledge us, ask if we'd been there before, or offer any assistance.
Even when we placed our order, their conversation continued without interruption. When my partner mentioned that I should've gotten a boozy milkshake, one associate nonchalantly replied, "I'd have to get someone else to make that."
The ice cream might be great, but the service was terrible. We felt ignored and unwelcome. I doubt we'll be returning, as the poor customer service overshadowed the quality of the ice cream.
