Devilish Current Brewing Co.

This place is great. Came in from out of town and went to a concert. Had to walk the dog and ended up in this great, pet friendly bar. We were so excited to find such a cool spot. Super affordable. Noticed half way through our first round that we had lost an expensive ring somewhere. The owner helped us look for a while and we left our information with him after not being able to find it. Turns out, it had been dropped outside and as luck would have it, some honest person turned it in the next day and the owner gave us a call and kept it safe until it could be retrieved. The atmosphere and space is great and the place is clean! (I’d know I was searching under tables and in the corners for that ring😆) I definitely recommend Devilish Current and we plan to return on our next visits to Lex.

Extremely rude staff. Would give less than one star if I could. I’m not surprised this place is never busy. The negativity at this bar seems to put a lot of people off. There are much friendlier and cooler places in town to grab a drink. And real “breweries” that actually brew their own beer. Avoid this place unless you want to be harassed by staff.

The bartender made some sarcastic comments towards us as we walked in to play pool. We probably should have stopped to check with him initially instead of B-lining for the pool table, but I digress. We're all adults and happy to provide our IDs, that's not the issue here. The bartender spoke to us in quite a confrontational and condescending manner, making what could have been a completely innocuous interaction into an ordeal. He seemed irritated, taking some deadpan quips at us. Our order was taken with the same levity. Then after purchasing an inexpensive draft beer we were told that he, "only works for tips," and would not be serving us anything else. He seemed offended we were playing pool as if we weren't spending enough money to justify our presence. Not everyone drinks to get wasted. We'll go across the street and have a nice pint without the drama and sense of entitlement!

We arrived at 9:30 pm on May 25th, during Memorial Day weekend, and the place was nearly empty. The bartender, who seemed drunk, immediately started harassing us, particularly my friend with a sideways driver's license. When I ordered beers an hour later, the bartender was unhelpful and rude. The beers were good, but the place was unbearably hot due to the lack of A/C. When I went to order another beer, the bartender refused service because I hadn’t tipped earlier. His behavior was rude and unprofessional.

In summary, the atmosphere was charming, but the service and environment were terrible. We won't be returning.

Great local bar with relaxed vibe and friendly staff. Pool table, outdoor patio, sofa, and comfy cushioned bar stools. Would definitely recommend and return.

This isn't exactly a brewery despite the name. Its really more of a neighborhood bar with a few house beers, guest taps, and a few larger craft brands along with a full bar. Friendly staff, a nice setting and fair prices. Stopped in for a few beers. Would definitely go back if I'm in the area.

In town for weekend music festival and this place became our home base before and after the shows. Awesome atmosphere, great food and super cool owner/bartender took excellent care of us. We will definitely be back when we come back to Lexington.

An amazing atmosphere. Chris, owner and the bartender was such good company and so welcoming. High recommend to any lex local, as well as any out-of-towners who want to try something locally rooted in community!

Nice place inside. I arrived shortly after opening, so there was only one other patron there. The service was quick. There is an arcade game with multiple games within it for 50 cents a game, which is very fair. They also have a large pool table area. Outdoor seating is available. Being from Delaware I was glad to see Dogfish Head beer on tap. This looks like it would be a great place to go with several friends.
