Staying in one of the hotels nearby, so we walked over for dinner. I got the chili dog, and it wasn't too bad. The chili had a little zing to it. I would have loved to have had more of it, so that was disappointing. The bun was lightly toasted, which was nice. Otherwise, the bun would have been soft. Onion rings were cold and bland. My wife had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and loved it. Our son had bbq chicken tenders and said they were good, but the mac n cheese was gross. Our server was great she kept drinks full and was very friendly.

Fun place to eat and have a beer in Hamburg. Laid back, pub food. They have a ton of hotdogs to choose from, burgers, French bread pizza ( it's ok... like the kind you can get in the frozen section at the store) wings are crispy and you can get them extra crispy on request.

Love, love, love this restaurant!! Super casual sports bar type eatery with TV's EVERYWHERE!! Very open space that never felt crowded even though they were quite busy at 2 pm. The food was outstanding. Definitely recommend the onion rings (add salt), the double fried wings were epic as were the hamburgers. The menu is huge including salads, sandwiches, hotdogs, hamburgers, etc. Their shoestring fries are so GOOD!! A full bar is also present. Outdoor patio allows dogs so bring your pups along for the meal. Our waiter, Charles, was the best! Great service without being around too much. Very family friendly spot. Can't wait for the next time! It was nice to find an affordable option in the heart of Hamburg. Especially with this quality of food.

this review is written after my first and last visit to this establishment. I had my license service dog with me, and upon entering the restaurant, the hostess ask if it was a service dog (it was wearing the service, dog vest, etc.), to which I responded yes and she said that was fine. AFTER we were seated in our food was served, the dog was in the booth beside me and was nowhere near the table or food. The most obnoxious young man approach to our table and said the dog have to go on the floor. This dog is an emotional support dog, and if this was the rule, I SHOULD'VE BEEN TOLD THIS BEFORE WE WERE ALLOWED TO COME IN AND BE SERVED. THEN, THE MANAGER CAME OVER AND WAS BEYOND RUDE AND ARROGANT, AND DID NOT ASK ME IN A NICE MANNER TO PUT MY DOG ON THE FLOOR. He gave me approximately two minutes, as I was having trouble with my small 10 pound dog, not wanting to be on their floor and came storming over and said "I'm going to have to order you people to leave because you have ignored my orders three times. You have to leave right now and I will stand at the door until you leave." This restaurant is the most UNFRIENDLY DOG RESTAURANT I have ever entered in my entire life. A thimble full of couth, finesse class and decorum would go along way. I think it is absolutely shameful that anyone would be treated this way. When we walked in the door, the manager had a duty to let us know the dogs were not welcome, whether licensed service, emotional support, animals or not. It is blatantly obvious that this man does not like dogs. As to the food, it was very average and the fries with the saltiest I've ever heard in my life. I will say that our waitress was very good, very polite, and very kind. She should seek employment elsewhere.

Wow? What energy in a Sports Bar! Walked in and it was wall to wall big screens and a ton of people having a great time. Just passing through town, it was a welcome change from a monotonous drive through corn field after corn field. In this part of Lexington, KY there were a lot of restaurant choices. I think I made a good one! Had the chicken ruben sandwich with a local brew. It was a lager beer that was aged in bourbon barrels with vanilla beans. THAT was a spectacular beer! However, its a long drive from NC to get another one. All in all, a pleasant experience. They closed at 9:00 which made me the very last patron in the restaurant as they were putting up the chairs. Oh well. Next trip, I can always go there again.

What's not to like. Wait staff is great! Food is exceptionally excellent. Try the Grilled chicken club, you won't be disappointed. Beer selection is by far a great choice. Do yourself a favor and sKip the box restaurants and try Double Dogs.

I ordered the dog with cheese and bacon(I don't care for onions), and it was off the chain!! I don't eat everyone's chilli, but I will try it next time on a dog. It was really good without it though. Even the bun was soft!! My daughter had the wings and I got NO COMPLAINTS from her. It's a must try if you're looking for something different.
