Visiting from out of town and was looking for someplace that served up some Burgoo. I first tried burgoo at Churchill Downs and really enjoyed the taste. I saw an article online listing Double H BBQ as one of the top burgoo locations in Lexington and decided to give it a try. Glad I did. Their burgoo was broth based and what I was looking for. Also tried the white chicken chili, green beans and a small brisket sandwich. Everything I tried was good and made my belly happy.
Wings were really good and I really liked their white sauce.

The location makes this spot incredibly convenient for anyone working nearby. The staff are all business with new customers—not a lot of small talk or warmth—but I noticed that the regulars were greeted like family. Despite the lack of friendliness, the service was quick, and the Reuben sandwich was amazing, served up fast and hot. For a quick, satisfying bite close to work, it’s a solid choice, but don’t expect much in the way of personality unless you’re a regular

First time stopping in and it won't be my last. I had the 1/4 chicken and green beans. Chicken had a great smokey flavor without being dry. The green beans were perfectly seasoned and not overcooked. Service was excellent!

Big judge of restaurants by their coleslaw and these folks got the mayo slaw right. Not to mention probably some of most tender sliced pork I’ve ever had. Order the corn pudding too - so sweet, it should be a dessert. These are really down to earth folks and their customers represent all of Lexington.
