Big judge of restaurants by their coleslaw and these folks got the mayo slaw right. Not to mention probably some of most tender sliced pork I’ve ever had. Order the corn pudding too - so sweet, it should be a dessert. These are really down to earth folks and their customers represent all of Lexington.

old dude at the register treated my like shit for no reason. not sure what his problem is but he wasn't exactly nice to the other customers either. casually cussed in conversation to staff and customers. the food is great, just bad experience with the redneck on register. put him on fryer and this is a solid five stars!

BBQ was on point. Had the quarter chicken plate with two sides for 10.99. It's hit the spot. No drink Included. Smoke really good. A little heavy on the pepper but it was made right.

Bill and Ernie knock it out the park every time. Food is excellent. No bad choices at all..I'll add the meatloaf, and ribs as recommendations also the jack and cheese..don't forget to ask for the house's Bama sauce for a nice kick. The food is very good, especially the smoked meatloaf and the wings! They also make a good burgoo and white chicken chili. Bill and Ernie are very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Many other items on the menu that are also good. Never eaten anything there I did not like.

This place is great I've been going here for lunch for a few days and everything I've eaten is really good. They have the BEST Cuban Sandwich and that's coming from a cuban from Florida. Hands down the best cuban I've ever had. The wings are great the ribs are super soft, fall off the bone, and delicious. My favorite side was the onion rings and potatoe salad. The people are nice. Will come again if I'm ever in the area.

Pulled chicken sandwich was good. Friends had pulled pork which was good too. We were disappointed in the green beans and Mac and cheese. I don’t know if we got a bad batch of the Mac and cheese or what, but we were bummed because of the great reviews! The only flavor that came through was a smoked paprika flavor that overtook the cheesy flavor. The wings were okay. If you like smoked wings then they are for you, just not for me. Overall I want to try some other things and give it another go!
