We both found the portions--quiche of the day and country omelet--too large to finish; smaller would be preferable.

Great early NYE dinner. Had us set up with two tables, total 16 people, table one for kids, one table for adults. 1 large format Pinot, 2 bottles of brunello, great cocktails, food, excellent service. Great dinner. Thank you.

My husband and I had a wonderful New Year's Eve Dinner! The food and service were exceptional!! My new favorite restaurant.

Great time! Food was fantastic but would like to see some options for those who are a bit picky. Perhaps grilled chicken or chicken tenders. Thanks again!

While service was excellent, Dudley's is in need of a restauranteur's audit. Upon entering the scent of the outdated build, flooring, furniture feels like you're entering someone dirty house. The calamari was oversalted and dry indicating that it's been in the freezer far past its due date or left unsealed. The Korean Cauliflower while tasty, is a flavor profile that leans heavier on a general tso dish (use less sugar, more soy, garlic and Korean chili pepper). The beet salad has potential but the beets should be cut in medium dice over a batonnet style (don't make your patrons cut a salad) - and the Boursin spread is too cheap to pair with picked beets with the amount of sharp salt profiles. Instead, pair with a whipped feta dip (block not crumbles) and cut it with olive oil and Greek yogurt. Lift it with lemon zest and herbs. The salmon was cooked very well however, when serving that beautiful crispy skin, it was painful to see a wet slaw served on top which by the time it left the expo, that crunch was gone. Don't be afraid to salt the skin, salmon needs it. Half of a bok choy slice...you can do better. Service and backwait staff were very attentive and speedy. Kudos to the front of house staff. I've been going to Dudley's for decades but upon this visit it does feel in need of culinary tune up.

We came for drinks and appetizers pre-show at the Opera House. It was quick (but not rushed) service. Delicious options with plenty of variety. It had been a while since I had visited Dudley's, but that cauliflower appetizer will be living rent free in my brain until I'm able to return!

Outstanding in all regards as usual. Service is top notch. They asked at check-in if we were going to the UK b-ball game and let our server know. So nice.

We had a great experience at Dudley’s on Short! The Korean Fried Cauliflower was absolutely amazing — crispy, flavorful, and one of the highlights of the meal. My lamb shank had great flavor and the potatoes, kale, and demi-glace were delicious, though the meat itself could’ve used another hour of cooking to be perfectly tender. My husband ordered the Tournedos Maxwell, and it was cooked to perfection — he loved every bite. The homemade rolls and butter were also a standout touch. We’ll definitely be back!

It's one of the favourite places in Lexington, and the service is always on the spot. The caramel apple is a must-order per person!

I went to Dudley's for the first time with colleagues. Bailey our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made some wheel recommendations!! We ordered several specials and desserts at her suggestion. Everything was delicious and the ambiance stellar. It was a chilly evening and we were sat by the fire place. Wonderful all around!

Great atmosphere and the food was exceptional. Immediately we were served delicious rolls which started a great meal. The smoked trout eggs, marinated olives and Milanese chicken were excellent. The hot brown had good flavor but was on the dry side. Great meal and evening in lovely surroundings.

My first but definitely not my last experience was almost too good to be true. I am so attracted to the downtown area.

We went for brunch at 11 am on Saturday. This helps us keep our cost of meals down while experiencing 4-star restaurants. The bacon beignets were recommended online they were texturally good but I'd like a little more bacon taste personally. Also recommended was the Dudley eggs ie the deviled eggs which seemed to have horseradish and had some bite but balanced and presented nicely. I had the chicken on a biscuit with gravy with egg it was down-home yummy while presented with class. The steak and egg my husband had were cooked to perfection as asked. The day we were there, there was a market on the streets with a good mix of products to choose from. We will return to Dudley's on Short when in the area.
