El Asadero Bar & Mexican Grill

We did not have a good experience here on 9/30/25. The restaurant was not busy at all but service was quite slow. My friend and I ordered frozen margaritas because they were advertised for 4.99. When we asked why we were charged 7.99, we were told that we got 16 oz instead of 12 oz., however, we didn't know we needed to specify a size. Servers should ask customers what size they want when there is more than one size available. They should not just assume the customer wants the larger size. In addition to that, when I tried to use the soap dispenser in the bathroom, it fell off the wall and busted on the floor. No big deal but when I let one of the staff know about it, I was told in a rude tone that I should have known that one was broken and used the other one! Since when does a restaurant shame the customer for their defective equipment?? Anyway, we won't be back!

Will never go back to this place again. lol my kids accidentally spilled our queso while we were eating like right when the queso came out when I got the bill I didn’t expect to charge for an extra queso dip I tried to explain to the server why he charged me for an extra queso but he didn’t really understand the manager came I explained like hey we didn’t really get to eat the queso cuz my kids accidentally spilled it you really gonna charge me for an extra queso? Like it’s just queso! The manager went in to tell me that it’s your FUALT The queso spilled I’m sorry but I’m not gonna refund it it wasn’t my servers fault lol it was no one’s fault but common courtesy is to replace the queso for free if something like that happens I just laughed and said ok no problem won’t ever be back! Lost a customer forever! All over some queso that was 8.99 lol hope you guys are doing alright over there to lose money over some queso

They sent me down at the bar to have dinner and no one ever came to offer me a drink or ask me if I had a menu or anything and finally I left. Hot awful service.

Let's start off with the decor and theme of the building was really nice. The menu was large with unique meals to choose from. Unfortunately all the good things I have to say with my experience end there.

My family of 5 arrived at 8:00pm and was sat very quickly, the place was not busy, most tables were drinking. We asked for a few more minutes because of the size of the menu and our waitress didn't arrive for 20 more minutes. Once we ordered we waited forever, long enough we asked for more chips, waited some more, then 55 minutes later our food arrived.

My wife got birria quesidilla meal, my son got the flaming hot cheeto tacos, daughter got a kids cheese burger, and I got the vegetable fajitas.

The birria quesidilla meas-was served with very cold rice and beans (thankfully it was to be eaten by my one year old). The flaming hot cheeto meal- was also served with very cold rice and beans. My daughters cheeseburger- came out without cheese (would've waited 20+ minutes for cheese, so we did not ask. Then the vegetables fajitas was served with a heaping pile of onions, 3 pieces of broccoli, and maybe 4 pieces of mushrooms, a few chunks of tomato, couple zucchini and ZERO bell pepper.

After sitting without my corn tortillas for 10 minutes I finished my rice and beans. Hadn't caught site of our waitress so asked a random one for the tortillas. Once the tortillas arrived is when I realized my plate was absent of peppers. Then when my server arrived I asked if they were out of peppers and informed her my meal had non- peppers and onions are the main part of a fajita. She took my plate and said Oops sorry.

Once my family was finished eating my new fajita meal was served. I believe they were being funny and sent out mainly peppers, a few onions, maybe 4 mushrooms, and a couple of chunks of tomato, no zucchini.

Every meal had errors and the service was poor. We had high hopes for this place. The decor was the only thing they had going for them. Normally tip 20%-25%, We left $5.00, when nothing should've been left.

Steak ordered MR , well done. Order forgotten, rest of the group ate as my wife sat with no food. When we got her food, the fries were raw and the burrito was falling apart because it was rushed. They charged full price for the food once brought out. My wife brought it to their attention. The gave her a $2.70 discount for the fries. Manager never came over , no apology.
