Tripa tacos were good, also good service
My favorite tacos in Lexington!
The BEST taco truck in town!!!! Meat was well marinated, roja and verde were really spicy and tasty! The most authentic tacos I have ever had.
By far the best taco my husband and I have ever had. We always order the lengua tacos. NEVER disappointed!!
Best barbacoa tacos quesadillas I've ever had
I ordered late at night and the young lady that took our order didn't even get it right after we told her specifically what we wanted. So we had to wait another 16 minutes of them making our order. Plus when she left she had came back and said something else that we didn't ordered and when she went back to tell the cook all I seen was him taking off that they had out on the torta and just put it back in the bag and looked all upset. Idk I would never come back here again!
Been going here for like 10 yrs it was very good when I first was introduced to it and it hurts me to give a 3 star! Then I moved away for 6 yrs! And the day I came back I had to go and get me the steak tacos with cilantro and onions with the green salsa! I order the same thing every time! And I normally eat there but I took my food home and I got home and I was devastated the food isn't the same as it used to be! I ordered 3 tacos and I was missing 1 this has happened the last couple times I've been there they used to be fat tacos 2 would fill me up and you could take half of the meat and cilantro and onions off and make another taco. But now there so little and barely any cilantro and onions so I can eat 3+. I asked for some extra cilantro and onions on the side and it was like I was asking for a whole bunch just enough to taste it on my tacos to give it flavor at least because I don't taste anything like before. And the torta for $9.00 was a total joke my sister asked for steak, beans, cheese and cilantro they were out of beans and it was early in the evening Iwouldunderstandif it was late at night when it's packed. The torta was smashed so bad and it was burnt and hard. It's was hard for her to eat and there wasn't hardly anything on it she took a bite and threw it away. Please get the food back to the way it used to be because this is the only taco truck I like going to and I drive 20-25 minutes to eat your tacos. And the last few times I've brought my niece she asked how do we order I said the lady will come to the car we sat there for 15 mins and remember it wasn't busy at the time I went so I had to get out of my car and walk up to the door to order our food and stand there and wait for our food. Please get everything back to the way it used to be because I always bragged about how good your food is/was!!
Best tacos I've had by far in Kentucky some of the best tacos I've had period. I feel that's saying a lot since tacos have been my favorite food since I can remember. I am from the Sacramento Valley of California where if you know, you know tacos are kind of a big deal. I consider myself a top rate taco connoisseur. I'm talking grilled halibut Tacos, shrimp, tacos. Homemade salsa, grilled onions, Cilantro, tomato, avocado, jalapenos, carne asada, pollo, all that. Not saying they have all that at Buen Taco, just trying to enlighten you as to a bit of the relationship I have with tacos. With that said El Buen Taco makes by far the best tacos I've had outside of California. And... I would even go as far as to say that, for what they are, - i.e., just a great damn taco, I feel they're arguably as good as most any other taco I've had, ever, California not withstanding. I order the carne asada taco "with everything" (being just Cilantro & Onion). And with Carne asada I usually add avocado & tomato. I also really like their barb'coa taco with everything, and I don't add avocado nor tomato on that one. Their seasoning of the meat is as close to perfection as I know. Try it if you like tacos. They also make quesadillas and tortas. All three of their options are flipping great, but like I said, particularly, I'm a taco-ologist. That's my thing. My girl likes their quesadillas. I highly recommend this place.
