The restaurant is OK, but nothing to brag about. The food was moderate at best, with empanadas terrible and seemingly something out of a freezer bag from one of the processors of these sort of things. We did like their onion soup. Overall, I'm glad that we tried it, however, only to scratch it off the list of options.
Tried Brasabana for the first time for an early dinner with a friend. The service was excellent. Cocktails were quite good. Appetizers and entree's were outstanding and so visually appealing. You will not be hungry when you leave this place! Will definitely be back!

We love cuban food and since we do not have any restaurants in Athens, GA serving any, we decided to search out somewhere while we were in Lexington, KY. This was a great find!!! They take reservations which is always a plus to me!! The menu had lots of choices and it was difficult to decide not to have a cuban!! But I love empanadas too and the sweet corn tamales sound divine. There are several toppings for the tamale and we ordered the mojo pork. Both dishes were really good. Presentation of both platings was top notch!! My favorite part was the mojo pork. Real flavor packed and perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed bloody marys! Service was excellent.
