In our opinion EL Toro is the only Mexican restaurant in Lexington. Our family visits at least once a week and have for the past 15 years. Ownership and staff are great. You definitely get treated as family EVERY time we go. Keep doing what your doing it works. Customers for life

We both had different chicken dinners. The chicken was tough and chewy. I told the waitress and she saw that my friend was struggling to cut his. We were given a discount, which we appreciated. The waitress was awesome!

Excellent food and top-notch service! We brought in my son's baseball team and families--a very large party! The staff was on top of things and took great care of us. I had the Burrito Hawaiiano and I loved it! Portion sizes were very generous and prices were reasonable. We will very back!

Absolute trash! Served me a torta that was on an old bun, chicken was fatty and old. Asked to exchange it for a taco salad, which was $3 or $4 cheaper. They brought it out with about a quarter of a cup, if that, of shredded chicken, and put my lettuce on the side because I didn't want lettuce on my torta, so they figured I'd want my lettuce on the side???. The taco shell was old and stale as well. Then they tried to charge me for the more expensive torta instead of the cheaper taco salad. The lady who cashed us out said it was my fault for not liking that torta, that there was nothing wrong with it!!! NO apologies, no nothing, just blaming me for not liking a bunch of old, fatty and grisly chicken on an old bun, then charge me for it. Dine at your own risk!!

I went on a date to El Toro! I was blown away by their service, and I loved the food we ordered! I had talapia fish tacos, cooked perfectly and well seasoned! We shared the jalapeno poppers as our appetizer. I enjoy spicy food, and the spice and freshness of this appetizer was perfect! My date had the steak tacos with rice and beans. Everything was a 10/10 I highly recommend this spot here in Lexington.
Perfect every time!
Best in town.
The food was good. Not the best, and the service was ok.
Overall, it was a positive experience!
