Great beer! They’ve got something for everyone. The bartender was so nice and recommended other breweries to try while we’re in town. We’ll be back!
Fabulous beer and the staff were very friendly. Went next door and ordered tacos while we were there. The vibe was very cool!
10.13.2024 - Ethereal Slice House, Lexington KY
We were in town for the Texas vs Kentucky volleyball game. Traveled from Indiana! Had heard great things about Ethereal and wanted to give it a try. Upon arrival, Slice House seemed a bit quiet but we were quickly greeted by “TJ.” TJ proceeded to share Slice House wasn’t open for another 40 minutes yet as they had just turned on the pizza ovens. However, TJ still took our order and made sure to get us some beers on tap. I also want to give a shout out to Jasmine!! She was very kind and made sure our pizza was made to perfection. We chose the Diavola! Looking forward to visiting again soon! ☺️
Thank you TJ and Jasmine!
We lived in Georgetown for a couple years and Ethereal became my favorite brewery in Lexington. The atmosphere and creativity of the beers is second to none, and we willingly drove over 3 hours this weekend to stop at the distillery district and each have a flight and snag a t shirt. We’ve had a couple snifters in our collection since we moved away 4 years ago, and still this spot isn’t one to miss. Highly recommend for all the right reasons.
The entire area exudes a laid-back vibe and a lively atmosphere. Our first stop at Ethereal Brewing was purely based on the intriguing name, but we stayed for the delightful drinks and vibrant ambiance.
Came here during the colder months and they had some great seasonal beer on tap. Awesome stouts and smoother IPAs. Beer was fantastic!
Great spot for a beer. The Distillery District is a great place. I’ll be back.
Great beer selection. BYOF okay.

Ethereal Brewing was a stop on our Distillery District food & beverage tour with Kaylee from Bites of the Bluegrass. As part of the tour we each got to choose a beer from their wall! It was a comfortable and enjoyable spot, a fun place to hang out with friends!
Nice brewery with a few items to snack on while there. They do allow other food but you must buy beer from them if you are to use their facility. If the weather is nice you can enjoy there outdoor seating area. Otherwise they have plenty of seating in the main area along with more in the back with a few dart boards.
Great ambiance and excellent beer! Love the passion that goes into every beer they create. Highly recommend checking this place out and trying the vast selection of delicious beers. The pizza was incredible too!!
Any place that has Belgian tripel on tap is already a win, add in the great location in the Pepper distillery building and the abundance of available games and darts in back room make this place a no brainer.
Unimpressed. This place is located on W. Vine & S. Limestone in Lexington KY. Very cute, English pub-like exterior and (sort of) interior. The bartender was not very friendly, not once smiling or engaging while we were there. The menu looks pretty impressive but when we got the pretzel & obatzda, the obatzda tasted less like the 2 cheese and more like sriracha. Honestly, not very good. Thirdly, the head-banging goth style music was pretty damn awful. We were just passing through Lexington and thought we’d try this place. We will stick with Blue Stallion instead.
