Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que (To Go Only)

Just really, really bad!

Ribs: tough, chewy, extremely dry
Chicken: meat was edible, not dry, but skin was soft and soggy.
Brisket: was at least juicy but tasted of pure smoke
Creamy mac & cheese: incredibly disgusting with pieces of corn, jalapeño and smoke
Corn: cold with cold butter and tasted like it had been wrapped in lettuce - no idea what on earth happened to make it so bad
Beans: awful sauce, pure smoke flavored bombs of meat, but okay beans if you manage to scrape away sauce and avoid the meat
Fries: were okay, bit soft/cold
Corn muffins: great!! Would consider ordering again

Awful food, meat was chewy and tough and could taste nothing but smoke. Absolutely bizarre flavor on the mac and cheese. Whoever is cooking this stuff has no idea what they are doing. The should close down this ghost kitchen operating out of a Johnny Carinos - which btw isn’t too great either. They got some inattentive hosts over there too.

I don't typically post negative reviews - I'm sure I've written one or two in the past, but I can't remember how long it's been. But, I have to leave a negative review here. The food was really awful. I ordered a two meat plate with brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was tough and chewy. The pork wasn't pulled. I'm not even sure it was all pork. It looked like gelatinous cubes of mystery meat - some of them a grayish shade suggesting it may have once been part of a pig, some of it more of a pale color, indicating possibly chicken. Nothing suggested it had ever been smoked. I paid $22 for the meal and nearly all of it ended up in a trash can.

It's a ghost kitchen. Either johnny carinos or famous daves got bought out, and merged these two places together, and now Famous dave's is just a ghost kitchen. Only tried their ribs because there was a coupon. There's better barbeque than this in town, and their sauce gives less than something you'd buy at a store. chicken wings were well cooked at least, but the brisket was way too fatty, and the corn on the cob was mush at best.

Got ribs and brisket. Person helping me with the to go order was great. Food had a very good flavor. However regarding health considerations, it contains a significant amount of fat (but that's probably normal for that type of meat.)

I purchased a Famous Dave's gift card online because they had a bonus savings. They have it online right now! I've historically enjoyed famous Dave's, but they aren't accepting their own gift cards, and I don't live anywhere near another. I was told they only accept Johnny Carino's cards. Very disappointing. Our family has enjoyed both for years. I can't imagine they'll be in business long considering the poor customer service.

Paid 20 dollars for my Rib order…. Got home and it was very Lil meat and the meat was tough …… I definitely called went back to get a refund

Not like the Famous Dave's I was used to.

Ordered the St Louis ribs and the meat was undercooke and baked beans wrre burnt.

Impossible to find and no answer to phone calls. Google maps lead you to Carranos, but nothing to tell you it was carryout or even inside the building. Very confusing. Ended up just leaving.

Quite possibly the worst BBQ experience ever. Ribs tough and impossible to eat and sides were micro serving and not fresh at all. Been to Dave’s at other places and much different experience.

Restaurant inside the airport in Atlanta, good service and attention, with a delicious hot dog, fresh beer, moderate price.
