Wow! The mushroom rangoon, cheese burger, and Brussels sprouts were all AMAZING! Wyatt creates a very personal atmosphere, and his food is phenomenal.

They said this was the best cheeseburger in Lex. Welp, they were right. The Brussels with cranberry and peppers were outstanding. Fries were spot on. Love how the owner interacts with the guests. I think I may have a new favorite spot in Lex.

Come for the burger + fries, but stay for….literally everything else. Favor is SPECIAL. Coming in and sitting at the counter truly feels as if you’re stepping into his home kitchen and grabbing a seat at the kitchen island.
There’s something uniquely comforting about this place that my wife and I haven’t found in Lexington. Honestly, I’m not sure we’ve found it anywhere.
The menu is ever changing, full of options across different styles of food. The burger and fries might be the best we’ve ever had. Seriously. (Make the burger a double)
But where this place really wins is the creativity and charm. Wyatt does what he wants with what’s available to him, and trust me when I say he takes care of you.
When we asked him about the menu changing with the arrival of summer vegetables, he laughed a little and said, “oh yeah, it just gets silly.” And I’m not sure he could’ve said anything to get us more excited than that.
This is a restaurant we’ll be coming to as long as he chooses to keep cooking, and I think it should be for you, too.
You’d be doing yourself and your friends/family a disservice by not coming here and enjoying such a special experience.
Book a resy, order as much as you can handle, and enjoy. I know you will :)

First time eating at Favor. Owner/Chef Wyatt was awesome. Great attention to detail, spent time talking to us about his restaurant and how the menu comes together each week. I was in from Florida visiting my family in Lexington last week and made reservations for this establishment. We had the rudest server (owner?). He was not welcoming at all and it really made for a bad experience. Even though the food was good I, nor my family will be back.
